One of the outstanding highlights of my visit

The marble hall leading to the Klimts and Schieles- especially if you have a knowledgeable guide as we do - was a stand out experience.

There is so much incredible art to experience here. But what blew me away was the main Klimt room which is dominated by his most famous painting"the kiss" but that is not enough. The room is filled with one priceless Klimt after another including two of my favorites, "Judith" and "Waterserpents I". Beyond that there are countless other masterworks of... More

What a great place to spend a few hours a gardens looked lovely and were calming to walk through. Only visited the Upper Belvedere Gallery and wasn't disappointed - some amazing art there. Loved the Klimt's but also the portrait of Empress Elizabeth "Sissi" you see everywhere . You can visit the gardens for free but for the exhibitions you... More

I am not an arty fatty person but I agreed to visit with my wife. Enjoyed the visit seeing particularly the Klimpt paintings. Fantastic beer hall next to the lower palace offered great compensation.

We visited the Upper Belvedere and enjoyed it much. We admired the palace and the gardens, as well the art exhibition. The Klimpt collection was magnificent! It is funny that they have a room for selfies with The Kiss :)

Franz Joseph had a very beautiful palace which seemed more livable than the Imperial Palace. The grounds were absolutely amazing and well worth the time to explore.
