Lots of open air pools to pick from but the water slide caught our eye for our 4 year old son. When we arrived after we were pleasantly surprised to get in as a family of 4 for under 10 euros including a locker.

The facilities although slightly dated were clean, tidy and varied. We had in a dip in 4 different pools and my son and I used both diving boards and the slide, all well supervised and looked after.

There are vast grounds to sunbathe in and a trampoline park for the kids plus a cafe/restaurant for a bite to eat, coffee or beer whilst you relax.

Taxi there and back from the city and entrance fee cost less than Therme Wien.

A very typical vintage Viennese open air Aqua park. Open in summer in north west of Vienna.
Specially known for the view over Vienna!

Have been going here for 60 years recently took friends young children had a lovely few hours. I often go on my own as well. It has recently had a makeover and is a great place to visit. Walking distance from Town Centre and near Cirencester Park.

If you are in Vienna with children and it is hot, this is a good place to go. A previous reviewer got there by taxi. We took the 43 tram from Schottentor to Hernals and then the 42a from Hernals to the pool. Very nice green area with lots of shade. One big pool and several smaller pools. 2 well supervised diving boards, a big water slide, a nice cafe and a children's playground. 12 decent trampolines too. I went with my 11 year old daughter and we spent most of the day there while my wife did the art in Vienna!

It was a very nice visit, but i would only recommend visiting the bath with children since it's mostly for younger visitors. It's a nice area, yet it's not very relaxing since it's very loud. The bath is very good for a family trip but not made for true relaxation.

This old swimming pool is ideal for hot days because the water is cold. the green area around the pool is huge. There is one big slide and one jumping board in the pool. There are 3 kids pools in separate areas. Overall the facilities are old but clean and relaxing.
The entrance is cheap, about 3 Euro an adult, and it;s easy to get there by bus.
