Okay, I went here last night because I wanted to see some Classical music in Vienna. They have 4 concerts a day here and cheapest tickets are 19 Euro which I would recommend for the Mozart hall at least - they have 2 different halls. The hall I was in, every seat was a good seat. On a Tuesday night,... More

Saw Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra play Mahler's 9th Symphony. Pure bliss. Highly recommended to any classical music lover.

On the opening night of my conference, imagine what you can do to entertain about 2,500 lawyers from all over the world. Well, the organisers hit on a winner. Book out the famous Wiener Konzerthaus, set up a baroque sized orchestra, put on some fine Viennese music and let the food and drink flow. The result was a wild night... More

If you want excellent and authentic music, musicians, then get tickets to this concert house. There are a few halls in this place and we were in a smaller one which gave a more intimate performance.

Were there yesterday at "Hollywood in Vienna". Pure history in this building. Amazing sound. Service is professional and friendly, several cloak rooms, they do NOT loose e.g. your umbrella or additional bags. Also several buffets on the different floors. We really enjoyed it! Recommendation!

We had just finished visiting Karntnerstrasse & walked up to to the Wiener Konzerthaus. The Art Nouveau building has a good looking exterior in white with red roof with some ornamentations on the facade. It has three sound proof multi purpose halls with excellent acoustics named after Mozart,Schubert & Berio. It promotes both traditional & innovative music performances. You can have a `seeing dog`... We attended the Wiener Philharmoniker concert here. The Konzerthaus has a plain facade and pales in comparison to the other architectural buildings on showcase in Vienna but the interiors were a lot more alluring compared to the state opera. The acoustics were nice and the arrangements well handled.

Amazing concert, 6 Hours of rhythm. The best drummers I have ever seen.. 6 concerts in one day, 6 musicians. It's over since 5 hours and I'm still exited. The location is simply wonderful. The services are really good, no lines to the wardrobe and almost no lines at the bars during the brakes. Really a beautiful experience.

We attended two concerts in the Wiener Konzerthaus in June 2015: one by the Santa Cecilia orchestra and a recital with Maurizio Pollini. Both were fantastic, the hall is magnificent, has great acoustics and we could see the stage very well although we sat in the balcony.

Richard Strauss wrote a nice piece for the opening of the Konzerthaus. This institution has got every type of music - classical, jazz, old music, folk music, world music. The concerts are not only in the bid hall, but they have smaller performance halls also. It can be a competition with Musikverein Vienna, who can get the best orchesters, performers.... More
