In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Another great visit to a favorite hotel a great experience from great staff yet this time we tried their partner Fitness CenterJohn Harris fitness center and what a difference the rudest staff we ever met.
They made us regret the visit.
John Harris will close soon if they keep this type of attitude.

This gym was right next to our hotel and being gym goers we thought we ask to pay as you go (like every other gym allows), although the answer at this centre was a straight "no, only members"...how much revenue must they loose being in the centre of a tourist district and with a hotel next door with no gym!

Not your everyday gym with chandeliers hanging along with nice lounge chairs, but that’s John Harris. It’s pricey but they have extensive and good equipment, it’s never crowded, and the attendants are helpful. I got a monthly pass which was roughly $180. You can pay a little extra to get a towel with each visit and they provide a locker. They also have a small cafe inside. Love going there!

John Harris is probably the best Vienna Fitness Chain. It has several units and sells day passes for not member. The day Pass is EUR 38 (if you come together with a member EUR 19).

We went to the 1080 unit, modern equipments, swimming pool and good SPA area.
In the SPA area you have a finish, a low-tempurater (60) and steam sauna. I was told they have an additional sauna ub age female section.

On my visits you normally have a lot of space, e.g 1-3 persons in the sauna. On the 30l12 it was busy and the stuff did not take care of cleanness in the SPA area. That was disappointing for that kind of facility.
