Not the best Madame Tussauds out there but I did enjoy the figures that were more closely related to Vienna and Austria in general. The figures were fairly good likenesses and overall it was enjoyable. We had free entry with the Vienna Pass though and if we hadn't I don't know if this would be something I'd pay to see

The museum is pretty nice with a nice collection of statues. The expanse of the place is quite something to admire. However, if you have visited the Madam Tussads at London this would probably be a let down. If you have never visited madam tussads , would recommend visiting.

Although a bit on the expensive side, we had a great time, the attraction being fully wheelchair accessible. We took lots of pictures and had many laughs. Although it was relatively busy we had enough space to move about. All the children there seemed to have a blast too. It's not as big as the one in London, just big... More

If you're in the Prater amusement park with some free time check it out. But its small and nothing special, so I wouldnt recommend going out of the city just for here

This was our first visit to a madame tussauds and we really enjoyed our visit. We had great fun looking at the exhibits and using props to make our photos more fun. Was a bit expensive for a short visit but we still had a great time.

I went to visit Madame Tussauds a couple of times. Its not as big as you might expect, but it's definitely worth it. You have a lot of themed rooms (celebrities, sports, geniuses i.e. A. Einstein...). Sometimes there's even an on-site photographer who takes pictures of you with the celebrities, which are available for purchase at the end. I did... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
