    Great introduction to UN Vienna
Although I am familiar with the UN Vienna, the tour was very informative and also fun. The tour guide Frederika was great and I’d recommend the tour to everyone who has interest in UN, UN Vienna etc. We had a ternager with us and he loved the tour as well.

    Short but enjoyable.
The tour was rather short, I wish we had been able to visit more areas and learn a little more about the overall work done by the UN. Anyway, Bianca, our guide, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. All in all, the experience was enjoyable.

    All good
I arrived about 15 minutes earlier, and you need a ticket and a badge for the tour. The people here are nice, and it is allowed to take photos with your personal camera. We can get into the small offices and learn about how UN Vienna is working. Pretty cool experience!

    Unveiling Modern Austria's Global Impact
Embark on a unique journey that transcends Austrian palaces, offering a compelling look into the modern influences shaping our world. This tour provides a fascinating behind-the-scenes exploration of an institution actively contributing to global progress. The experience underscores the power of countries working together for the greater good. Our knowledgeable guide adds a delightful touch, seamlessly integrating captivating elements like a moon rock, space suits, encounters with foreign delegates, and a Tutankhamen mask while dog robots cavort in the background. This dynamic excursion goes beyond expectations, offering a concise yet eye-opening adventure into the intersection of modern Austria and its impactful role on the global stage. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised by the depth and relevance of this unconventional exploration.

One of the three main centers of the United Nations!
I attended meetings at the UN's Vienna International Centre. The place is huge and quite attractive visually, with the array of flags and circular buildings. Despite the size, the complex is fairly easy to find your way around. They offer tours of the place for outsiders with special passes. Security screening is tight and thorough, as would be expected in today's crazy world.

    Kudos to Ines 😊
By being part of a random international visiting group made this visit even more pleasant to me, although I didn't think about it previously. I was glad to be reminded of some hard facts about the UN and specific/detailed ones about the headquarters in Vienna as well. Kudos to our tour guide Ms. Ines, for a very kind way of talking, very good way of posture and for emitting good and positive energies towards the whole group of visiting guests. 😊

We toured the UN with our University class. Our tour was the last one of the day @ 3PM and I was quite disappointed. We started the tour late, probably close to 3:15 or 3:30PM. Further, the guide was so soft spoken we couldn't hear anything he was saying. When we asked if he could speak louder, he said he is sorry he had tours all day and "he will try" - but throughout the tour we still could not hear anything. We were rushed through 3 or 4 stops. The group had a lot of questions and he cut us short because "they close at 4". We had no time for pictures and at 3:55PM we were ushered to the exit. I left not knowing much more than to say I walked through the UN Vienna headquarters. Further, as the other reviews state, the gift shops are all closed even though they have some nice souvenirs and they will close by 3 or 4PM. Also, they will only take cash.
Note: The other half of the class had a lady tour guide who provided a memorable experience. Your visit will depend on your tour guide, unfortunately it was not worth it for me.

A really informative experience with our tour guide Teddy. The Vienna UN building is next to the metro station so it is easy to get to. Lots of souvenirs available and interactive stuff for children. Obviously security is strict but necessary. A very spacious and clean area to look around. Thanks to our knowledgeable guide we came away with a better understanding of the history and purpose of the UN.

Very interesting tour, well worth the visit. Our guide was informative and told us about the history of the UN, their presence in Vienna and gifts received from various countries. It was great to learn more about the work done by the UN and to get an insight into their roles and responsibilities.

Great opportunity to see around an operational global HQ. Our guide was really helpful in answering questions. Highlight was getting to see the chamber and imagine hundreds of delegates from all over the world listening intently.
