This is one of the world's greatest opera houses. We were able to purchase standing-room only tickets to the evening's performance for only 2 Euros each. Unbelievable!

Beautifull from outside, beautiful inside. We've been watching Rigoletto with Maltman, Calleja, Nadia Krasteva. Andrea Carroll was fantastic. It is smaller then la Scala but it has the same level of perfection. It is cheaper too. 😁

We saw Verdi’s Macbeth. Wow. The orchestra is the finest anywhere. Stunning. Everything about the House and the performance underscores that this is the throne room of opera.

Get in line for the box office at the Opera House to avoid disappointment. We arrived an hour before it opened as there were hundreds of people for the various language tours. Tour was quite short but well worth it.
