Impressive church outside, but inside?
Dec 2019 • Family
This church was in front of our hotel, and is really impressive, so we decided to visit it,on Christmas Eve.My family and I are greek Orthodox, so we wanted to pray.
But inside the atmosphere was awfull, because of a woman who was responsible. She spoked russian or german, not english, so we couldn't understand her.She gave us orders in an ungry, insallting way,to close the door, to put the money for a candle somewhere.
But she insisted to speak in german and didn't make an effort to explain what he wanted. Too bad a person like that to be in the reception of a church, home of God.
When you visit a church,it's supposed to be welcomed by love and kindness, not rudeness and missery.
We rushed out and didn't have the mood for praying.
Too bad ,it was Christmas Eve!

Review of cathedral
Aug 2019 • Friends
It is considered as one the most sumptuous and grandiose of the churches of St. Petersburg. Completed in 1858, it is one of the most important neoclassical monuments of Russian architecture of the nineteenth century.

It is located in the centre of the city, in the square of the same name, near Nevsky Avenue and the Hermitage Museum. It has one of the largest domes in the world and is the second highest Orthodox church in the world, 101.5 meters high, behind the Cathedral of Christ the Savior of Moscow that reaches 103 meters.

Sunday only for visits
Oct 2019
The interior of the church is only open a few hours on Sunday morning, and the opening times coincide with the religious service and, therefore, pictures are not permitted.

Beautiful Building

It's quite nice to look at. We happened to see it from the Belvedere Palace, and walked up to it. Didn't know we could go inside. Pity

Wonderful place
Apr 2019 • Couples
Absolutely stunning Russian Orthodox Cathedral in a very peaceful district of Vienna.
The nearest station and the most convenient one to get to is Rennweg on the Pink Line of overground S1, direction Bahnhoff Meidling.
The Cathedral is open Monday-Friday 10am-2pm. Saturday: 10am-8pm.
It’s gorgeous both outside and inside.
If you want to see it, visiting hours above are recommended. During the service (times vary), it will be difficult to move around inside.
No photography is allowed inside and dress code is expecting to have shoulders covered.

An absolutely spectacular church, which you did not expect to find in Vienna. It is within 1.5 km. by Stephansdom.
Oct 2018 • Couples
Almost in any tourist guide about Vienna finds recommendations to visit Catholic churches and cathedrals (absolutely superb), but there are almost no references to Orthodox rite churches. By chance I found it about 1.5 km. by Stephansdom, in Vienna 4, in an area full of Consulates of some countries. Imagine the churches in Moscow or St. Petersburg and that's exactly what you will discover here. Absolutely gorgeous! I'll attach some photos to convince you.

Beautiful

A beautiful hidden gem in the middle of the suburbs of Nice. Tame rabbits munching grass happily in the grounds. Serene and calming. We would recommend a visit.

Worth a visit
Sep 2018 • Friends
We walked by and decided to see if it was open. To our surprise, it was open and we were able to enter and see the magnificent sights. It is very elaborate and ornate and peaceful. There was no one else there so we could observe and take in the beauty without hoards of people. Definitely worth visiting.

Gourmet Hotel
Jul 2018
Hotel Greil is located in Söll,Tyrol, Austria with the Wilder Kaiser mountains to the north and the Hohe Salve to the south. The Greil is a four star establishment and it specialises in gourmet 5-course dinners; the wine list is extensive. The hotel is under the management of Sepp Greil who has done everything possible to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The photos show the hotel exterior and the view from the room balcony towards the Wilder Kaiser.

Beautiful church and artwork
Mar 2018 • Couples
Beautiful church and artwork. Unfortunately, only the main church is accessible except on Sundays when the Museum, Shop and downstairs chapel is open. We stopped twice and one night we were able to get into the chapel as a music group was setting up rehearsal. Sunday visit highly recommended. Very limited English speakers, mostly Russian and Austrian/German.
