This was the worst choice we made in a 2 week vacation. Commercialized, impersonal, and a hall packed with cheap banquet chairs, wedged tightly together. Be very certain about the venue before you commit, but better yet - find a different service to provide this wonderful music. Go elsewhere. My father was do dismayed by this commercialized scam to bring... More

The orchestra and vocalists were at least good, but the venue was very poor. It appeared to have been a large ballroom with high ceiling, hard wall surfaces, filled with audience on folding chairs. The room was not acoustically designed for performances, so from at least the middle of the hall to the back, the music was deadened and faint.... More

After others from our tour group had been and RAVED about the concert, we booked tickets for the next night. We were unaware they did it at more than one venue. GREAT music of Mozart, Strauss, etc including opera singers-LOVED the music!!! HIDEOUS environment - in the Redouten wing of the royal palace that had burned in a fire in... More

This is a great evening. The palace concert setting is beautiful. The orchestra is great and the singers are excellent. This is a better concert than you get at Schonbrunn.

Like many others, I've watched the New Year's Day Concert from Vienna on TV and wished I could experience it. This obviously isn't quite the same thing but nevertheless extremely enjoyable. I loved the whole experience. It was light hearted an we were kept entertained It was as you would expect really. After the first half we were served with... More

Experienced a Strauss Concert at this venue. Impressive classical musical entertainment by orchestra, conductor and singers. Very professionally executed. A few laughs thrown in and extremely enjoyable. The cost was reasonable and the experience was a very enjoyable night out. If you get a chance to experience this performance do it. You won't regret it. Well worth the visit!

Seating begins about a 1/2 hour before the 8:30 performance. There are about 40 professional musicians in the Weiner Hofburg Orchestra and four opera singers (2 male/2 female) in the performances. Of the approximately 16 pieces played 12 were Johann Strauss compositions and four by W.A. Mozart. Due to the overwhelming applause the orchestra played an additional three compositions. Among... Enjoying a concert amid the beauty of Vienna is a must. The Palace is beautiful and the music, along with the singers, makes the night one to remember.
