Stayed a few days at DC tower Melia and it is right next to the conference Austria center. The center is large and lots of space . It is next to the underground which makes it very easy to travel

This is an excellent conference venue with good easy access by metro. There are other things nearby, restaurants and other things, making it easy to not be trapped inside at lunchtime for example.

Veina is such a lovely place with lots to see and so clean . A bit pricey but worth it any way. The transport network is good just a quick tourist advise. English can be added to the maps or descriptions.

I visited this conference venue. 6000 delegates attended. As this was a huge venue spread over 4 floors we were all easily accommodated. 2-3 mins walk from Kaisermuhlen VIC Metro on U1 line. Easy access by bus also. Good facilities, lights, sounds, technology and ample support staff

i attended the above conference which was held at the center over 5 days. there were several, different-sized halls, lecture theatres and rooms, an exhibition hall and the reception area was used as a refreshment and networking area. the wifi and conference website were easily accessible and the refreshments and meals were excellent. 5 minutes walk from the u-bahn and tram stop.

We rented the Sophia unit which was fantastic. Very clean, modern, spacious and nicely decorated. We had two bedrooms; perfect for traveling with our daughter. Finally, the apartment was walking distance from the city center and right next to the metro. Great stay overall!

This is a large multilevel complex - the building takes the shape of its logo, with additional exhibition halls. It's a place one will have to specifically target for events such as conventions. On its own, it is not a tourist attraction as I personally thought the architecture was not special save for the entrance. Inside, the lay out of Austria Center Vienna can at times be confusing because of the number of rooms and the levels are colour-coded rather than numbered. There is a nice vista of the entrance from one of the foyers in the upper level (probably red). The cafes serve good melange coffee (€3,20), but did not try the food here.
Outside there are usually costumed Austrians selling tickets for the Mozart shows. The price seems similar to tickets offered in the Old Town.
To get to Austria Center by metro is easy using the U1 line (red) - just get off at Vienna International Centre/Kaisermuhlen station and take a short walk. Also one can see the ACV sign rather prominently displayed and easily sighted from the railway making it difficult to miss.

Basically a big conference centre - not a stop for a tourist.

Impressive venue for large events, unfortunately the personnel is not always kind and the quality of wifi is really poor.

I would like to know if it is easy to bike from the convention center to the city center (say, leopoldstadt). Google maps give me 14 minutes, but are these in a nice bike path? I need a good way to get to the city center, are there bises? I am NOT taking subways. Thank you!
