Read about this bar on Trip Advisor and decided to check it out with friends. We weren’t disappointed. Great sound of vinyl coming from the record decks in a warm friendly atmosphere amongst a mish mash of comfy armchairs, stools & a rope swing! Even...More
This area doesn't have a ton of bars that serve drinks other than beer so we were happy to find it. We were a little apprehensive about going because a lot of themed bars oftentimes seem a little too uppity, but this is not at...More
Stumbled in here completely by accident. The area is filled with rows of boring identical bars. Skip them and go to Needle instead.
The staff is amazing the drinks are excellent and the amosphere is warm and friendly.
Came here on my first night in Vienna. Can’t say enough nice things about the bar staff - friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. The patrons all seemed like one big happy family here. The motif and decor are excellent too. Definitely worth your time to...More
This place is a hidden jem in this town. Not only talking about the fact that the place gives you a cozy homey feeling, or the incredible amount of good brainmelting tunes played from a oldschool record player.

Needle is a special place with special people.
It is a cozy living room where you can relax after a hard day.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
