We got a metro to the United nations building and then a 15/20min walk through a lovely quiet park ro the Danube tower. Then you pay €14.50 per person and are shown through to a lift which is operated by a member of staff... in a few seconds you arrive at the observation platform which does give nice views of the city... not good for people who are a little nervous of heights.. expensive in my opinion for a view but it is what it is... you can have a coffee etc if you can handle the height for more than 5 mins... then that's it.. down and away to the next tourist attraction...€29 euros lighter

DC Tower is the tallest in Austria, located not far from UN Complex. The Restaurant , lounge is located on 57th floor , belonging to Hotel Melia. One has to buy coupons from restaurant on lower floors, then come on 57th floor,There the drinks and food was served. It is expensive, even by Vienna's standard.
This DC Tower is 250 metres high and is in Donau district, hence the name DC Tower. It has a huge Car Park, of 254 places, has 16 private homes in the top 4 floors.
We , luckily got a corner window seating, through glass walls, we could see Vienna city and river Danube. We were there on a Saturday, fire works started, lasting for good 10-15 minutes. The Ambience and the music were really good, and we thoroughly enjoyed.

It is just perfect! The building, restaurant, stuff...it is not cheap, but it is worth it. Great view from the restaurant on the top, specially in the evening.

We had a meeting on the 36th floor in a corner room with a stunning view over the Donau and the old city. Absolutely fabulous! A bit scary too because the building is not straight up but angling out a bit on the higher floors. Not good for people with vertigo.

Vienna has a lot to offer, but many skyscrapers are not to be found on that list. Which is actually good, because they're not overshadowing the Old city.
This is one of the tallest, located not far from the United Nations Complex.

The restaurant located on the 57th floor of Melia Hotel in DC Towers district. To access the the restaurant tower you'll probable need to take a metro or a cab for 20 min ride from the center. There is a restaurant on the 57th floor and a lounge on the next one. They look to be a part of one place, but when we asked if we can bring our cocktails that we haven't finished during the dinner upstairs we got a refusal. Same for the desserts. The place is rather popular among locals. The atmosphere and music are nice. Prices are rather high.
