The tower is kind of remote - but if the weather permits do consider taking a walk from the metro station to the tower. It goes through a very nice park. At the top we have visited the cafeteria - it moves slowly and you...More

We visited the tower, as it was one of the stops on the Hop On Hop Off tour. Seemed slightly expensive at €13 each - and that included a small discount for Hop On Hop Off customers. There’s a small introduction in English and German...More

It was a very foggy and cloudy day, but the views over looking Vienna were beautiful! You can purchase a combined ticket for the giant Ferris wheel (different location) as well as the tower, which was under €20/person. There was also a restaurant and a...More

Walked to the tower from Stephansplatz (you can get public transport or the tour buses), it came into sight as we crossed the Danube. It looms over you as you get closer. The lift has a glass top so you can see the walls whizzing...More

Yes. It’s quite expensive though if I recall correctly. I had kept a log of pricing at the time to ensure we got value for money from the ticket which we did! Apologies for the late response.

Hello! Right now there are very little parking spaces because of the construction in front of the Danubetower. The best would be -> parking on the streets and walking through the park or coming by public transport.

Right now you can buy the tickets at the Donauturm. For now we don't have an online shop, but it is planned to provide an option for buying the tickets online!
