Driving through the Bregenzerwald pastures to either side of the road leave no doubt as to why the cheeses of this region are so sought after.

Had a condensed version of this at a recent business conference at Castle Hofer and it was quite impressive. I'm a fan of the stronger cheeses, but all are worth a try. And a great cultural evening!

Be sure to visit a local farmer who can give you a tour and taste of their very unique and wonderfully tasting cheese. All local stores carry the cheese of the area as well so you can buy more for later.
