A nice river and some lovely "touristy" shops (if you like that sort of thing) otherwise the market place seemed pretty lacking in inspiration, sorry

Heavy rainfall never helps, but this charming old town has enough shops, museums, churches and little alleyways to keep the interest. We recommend the glass blowing, and, with nicer weather, a stroll on the outside of the town by the river..

It’s a pleasant enough area to walk through but if it wasn’t for the glass shops I don’t think it’s worth a detour. Possibly tie up with a trip to Alpbach?
