Beautiful church, and lovely surroundings
Sep 2019
This was the first time that I had attended a Catholic Mass, and although I'm not a Catholic I found the experience wonderful. Of course I did not take part in the actual Mass, and neither did I understand a lot of what the priest said. I did put some coins in to the collection. Overall this church is very ornate, well maintained and definitely worth a visit. The graveyars is also woth walking through, as everything is neat and tidy.

Over the top but wonderful

This is one of the several lovely churches in Kitzbuhel and is, arguably, the best. It is dramatically ornate with a lot of gold and bling. It is light and airy and is well worth avisit.

It is in an important part of the town just outside the walls and its tower is quite dominant.

The graveyard is tranquil and very well kept. A great place for some quiet contemplation

One of the First Attractions to Find on Your Approach to the Centre
Jun 2018 • Couples
This imposing church dominates the view overlooking Kitzbuhel with a clock on all four sides of the tower/spire. We did not explore this venue, but am advised it is well worth a visit. The mountainous scenery surrounding Kitzbuhel is quite dramatic and makes it easy to understand why Kitzbuhel is primarily a ski resort.

Kitzbuhel is a pleasant town, but does not have the attractions to be found in Innsbruck. In overall terms we felt Kitzbuhel was disappointing compared to other venues we visited.

Exquisitly light and airy church.
Jun 2018 • Friends
The church is beautifully light and airy even though every surface is decorated. The ceiling paintings are beautiful and sitting on a pew for a few moments to gaze upwards, is a lovely way to lift and inspire you. There had been a wedding when we came to the church and the pretty flowers added to the ambience. It is a lovely place to spend a while in contemplation. The graveyard surrounding it is also beautiful - and also pristine and organised, as with most places Austrian. Delightful.

Beautifully kept graveyard
May 2018 • Couples
The interior is rather over the top to modern tastes but the graveyard is unusually well kept with even padlocks on the watering cans!

Large parish church with lots of interesting items
Jul 2017 • Family
The tower of the Heiliger Andreas parish church dates from the birth of Kitzbühel in 1271 when a much larger church stood on this site, the rest of the church was built between 1435 and 1506. The church was restored in 1989/90.

This large, richly decorated, and quite spectacular church which has a lot to see, well worth a visit.
