Amazing location and amazing Innsbruck. Surrounded by the Alps. If you love being around the mountains and have fresh air and skiing sport and have the best ever experience so Innsbruck is the best option to look into and schedule it on your next trip plan!

30-60 minute bus rides take you to spectacular mountains. Stubai Gletcher is the highest, with many restaurants on the hill.
For views - I recommend Axamer Lizum the most. The mountains in the area resemble the Dolomites in Italy. The summit is accessed by a funicular (google it) and the restaurant is absolutely SPECTACULAR (google a photo of that, too).

You must be in good condition, to be able to enjoy the SPECTACULAR view once you get to the top by Funiculare and cable car, then you start hiking all about. You cannot help yourself because each view is SPECTACULAR. Just when you think you have had enough, there is ANOTHER SPECTACULAR view. So be prepared to walk/hike a lot, because it's worth it. Tip: Wear layered clothing. It gets cooler as you go higher. Invest in good sneakers like New Balance.

What a spectacular view! Absolutely worth the money for the cable car or the trek up the mountain. You honestly don't even need to bother getting off the cable car on the way up. Head for the tip first, spend all your time up there... if you have any time left, sure, stop at the other places on the way down.

Climbing and walking in the karwendel Mountains was one of the main reasons for visiting the city. Some days, it was quite misleading because there would be low cloud over the valley of he River Inn but beautiful clear sky once above the cloud cover in the Alps. Sensible walking shoes or boots are a must and walking poles wouldn't go amiss. Also be prepared for a drop in temperature. The views are spectacular and the walks something else.

Spectacular views kept us speechless. They are so amazing that I needed to think how to pick my words in order to correctly describe my feelings. Finally decided-it is impossible to tell it. Just come and see. Definitely will come back.

This is a short walk from the Gondular upwards. There is not much to see, but the views are great and you may be lucky to have the mist flowing below you into the small valleys below

The cable car might initially seem a little expensive, the whole experience makes it worth it. We went up in warm September sunshine and it was warm enough at the top. Views breath taking.

If you are going up to the top then go all the way. The cross is about 200 meters from the cable car and a solid up hill walk, on a small path, but it's worth it. Keep an eye on the weather, once the clouds come in visibility is down to meters only

Voy en junio 2016. Quiero saber si en ese mes arriba hace mucho frío, ya que vamos livianos de ropa. ¿Alguien me puede informar si es necesario mucho abrigo?
