I inquired about a custom itinerary for an Ortisei to Innsbruck transfer via the website and Rob replied super quickly with a proposed plan and a cost estimate as well. Payment was easily made in installments through PayPal prior to our trip.

On the day of, Rob showed up exactly on time to our hotel and we were off! We ended up seeing a whole other side of the Dolomites that we would’ve missed if we hadn’t booked this transfer, as well as multiple lakes and a beautiful valley. I was with my mom and both of us tend to get carsick, but Rob was a great driver and handled 50+ hairpin turns without problems. He gave us a lot of insight into the area and told us a little bit about his own travels as well. Great conversationalist, but also he didn’t mind when my mom and I were nodding off toward the end of the day 🙂

Before our trip, I had been worried about missing out by not renting a car in the Dolomites. But Rob was able to incorporate all our requests for sightseeing while also getting us from point A to point B safely and comfortably. Would highly recommend Rob for any day trips/transfers in this area!

We've had a fantastic experience with Rob.
We visited the countryside near Innsbruck before heading to Neuschwanstein. We then reached the outskirts of Hohenschwangau Castle before walking up to the main entrance of Neuschwanstei.
Rob had already bought the tickets for the castle tour and the visit was a unique, highly curated experience.
After the castle we had lunch in a nearby inn and then visited the Ettal Monastry, along with its impressive church.
During the entire trip, Rob has told us many historic facts about the region and some of it's most characteristic traditions.
We highly recommend him for a tour due to his professionalism and his knowledge of the best sightseeing and passion for his work.
It really was a fantastic guide!

We were looking for a private/semi-private tour to Neuschwanstein Castle from Innsbruck when we came upon Top Travel- Day Tours and the fantastic Mr. Nacho Molina. Everything was arranged via email correspondence and we were informed of our pick-up time when we checked in at our hotel. Mr. Molina arrived on time to start the tour in a big van with a car seat already in place for my 10 month old daughter. He came ready with bottled water, sleds (just in case our boys wanted to go sledding after the castle tour), and chocolates. We had a nice drive through Austria's countryside, a photo op at the beautiful lake Fernstein and arriving at the castle very early, before all the bus tours and crowd from Munich arrive. Mr. Molina was knowledgable, fun and an interesting companion on the 25 minutes hike to the castle. We were guided to see the best views and the the sweetest spots for photographing the castle. After the guided tours in the castle, we went for a drive through German country-side to visit Unterammergau, Oberammergau (must see) and a beautiful Bennedictine Monastery where the monks make really fantastic beers (available for purchase in the monastery). Back in Innsbruck Mr. Molina, to cap off the day, took us to a spot up high above the city for a bird's eye view of the beautiful city of Innsbruck. All in all we had a fantastic day. Our sons, who were very skeptical of any sort of tour in general, loved the trip and Mr. Nacho's company.

This is the second time that we booked a private tour with Nacho and will definitely request for his services again in the future! His excellent customer service is one of the best personalized tours we have experienced world wide. His depth of knowledge in areas we requested to see also included surprise add on visits to other places we were delighted to have seen, thanks to Nacho!

As a side note, we just arrived from Hawaii the day before our scheduled tour with Nacho in -12 degree Winter weather with just a jacket over our Summer apparel and Summer footwear. Since the airline lost our luggage and was not found in time for our full day tour scheduled for the next morning, Nacho went out of his way to assist us in finding a shoe store for my girlfriend so her feet wouldn't freeze over during the all day tour in snow and ice. That type of personalized attention to detail made all the difference in assuring for his customer's comfort and care!

If you want a guide that is passionate about what he does, we highly recommend Nacho as your personalized tour guide when visiting Innsbruck! He definitely is a wonderful, warm, positive and happy person to spend the day touring with!

Dear traveler, Thank you very much for your nice review and thank you of course for your trust. It was a big pleasure for me to show you the castle for the second time and read that you could enjoy the journey inspite of the difficult weather conditions that we had. I look forward to welcome you again in Austria next year and combine some nice alpine scenery and winter activities with you and try to surprise you again. with my best wishes, Nacho Molina

Our family had a great day of travel from Munich to Innsbruck. We enjoyed the sites, however the best part was meeting Nacho. We even had dinner at his favorite restaurant to end the day.

My partner and I had a fantastic day travelling and viewing the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria and back to Innsbruck through the Tyrolean Alps with Innsbruck Top Travel. We took this guided tour as it was a special treat for my partner who has always wanted to visit Neuschwanstein. Chris was a great guide, very accommodating and happy to stop wherever we wanted to stop and take pictures, and we chatted during much of the trip. I was pleased to learn during our drive to Bavaria that we had some shared interests in nature and Chris pointed out edible plants in the forest up to Neuschwanstein and found some special alpine flowers for us to look at and photograph way up in the mountains. Chris clearly enjoys his job, and also took the opportunity to snap some shots when we stopped. We even got to meet some of the local friendly farm animals grazing alongside the road on the way back to our hotel. The countryside is stunningly beautiful and it was great to have a local show us some of the areas that tourists don't normally get to see. Innsbruck Top Travel were easy to communicate with when organising the booking and both of us were thrilled with our relaxing day out in the Tyrolean countryside.

We did the Neuschwanstein Castle and Bavarian Villages tour from Innsbruck. Nacho picked us up at our hotel and entertained us for the entire day with stories/history and anecdotes from his time in Austria, and showed us a lot of sights that you would not find in a guide book! He is a great ,energetic tour guide.

Personally, I think this is the ideal way to see the sights between Innsbruck, Salzburg or Munich if you don't want the hassle of renting a car, navigating, and waiting in lines. It's also more of a personal/custom experience then travelling in a big tour bus with 50 other tourists. We stopped several times on the side of the road for quick photo ops. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend it.

Hey Matt, Thank you very much for the time you spent to review our past snowy trip to the castle of Neuschwanstein. It is a big pleasure to read that you both enjoyed the way we planned the trip for you, as well as the extra explanations and small chats we shared along the way. I really appreciate as well your recommendations ! Thank you again Nacho Molina

My husband, I and our 4 yr old son were planning our Austria trip and while researching places to visit around Innsbruck, we had come across Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany near the Austrian border. We weren't planning to drive and fortunately we found Nacho's website. We opted for a semi-private tour of Panoramic views of the castle. All our communication was through emails and Nacho was pretty prompt in responding to our mails. We had contacted him about 2 months prior to our visit. Our trip was confirmed along with another sweet mother-daughter pair.
Eloy drove us all to the castle and guided us through the entire visit of the castle and the Marian bridge. He gave us good company throughout, sharing tips about Innsbruck - restaurants, surrounding villages, activities etc. He also gave us some tips about visiting his homeland, Spain. It started to drizzle once we descended, so we decided to finish our lunch in one of the nearby fast-food places. Lucky for our family, they had some vegetarian pizzas. The others seemed to enjoy their meatballs too. On the way back he took us on a different route through some beautiful Bavarian villages. It was a very scenic drive. We stopped to take pictures on the way.
The mini-van was pretty comfortable. The entire trip was relaxed (despite all the walk, around the Neuschwanstein castle and bridge) and a lot of fun.
We would definitely recommend this tour to anybody planning to visit this beautiful castle with incredible views - it's the most hassle-free way.

A friend and I traveled to Austria seeking a good variety of experiences (not wanting just to check off a list of cities and landmarks). Toward that end, we booked two full-day private tours through Nacho Molina, owner of Innsbruck Top Travel.

We spent the first day with Mr. Garcia (I'm not sure how to spell his first name) who took us to a couple of glaciers in the area and showed us some other spots with amazing views that we never would have found on our own. At one of those "secret" places, both my friend and I uttered "WOW" at the same time as we rounded a corner on a narrow two-lane road to see one of the most amazing views we had ever seen -- a moment we never would have had without booking this trip.

The second day we spent with Nacho himself, visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, Oberammergau, and other cool places as we transferred from the Innsbruck area to Munich by scenic back roads instead of by boring motorways. We saw beautiful landscapes, authentic villages and towns, and a monastery. Nacho not only educated us about the sights, he also taught us a great deal about the hearts and minds of the people of Austria, even using a drive through a middle-class neighborhood to illustrate points. It was 9 hours very well spent.

Both Nacho and Mr. Garcia are young, energetic, warm, and professional. I cannot recommend Innsbruck Top Travel more highly; the trips I scheduled with Nacho far exceeded my expectations.

Recommendations:
1. Consider a private tour, which costs more than a tour shared with others, but allows complete access to the driver, a local who knows the region well. We felt it was well worth the cost.
2. Know what you want to see, but rely on Nacho's recommendations, too. As a local, he can show you some really interesting things that the guidebooks miss.
3. If booking with Nacho, ask him for recommendations regarding hotels and restaurants in the area, too. He knows these well. I changed my hotel at the Munich airport based on his recommendation and was very pleased with the hotel he recommended (which was also considerably less expensive than my original choice).
