Great architecture. We were told that this was a golden roof however it is really copper. It is centrally located in the hub of the tourist areas. Enjoy your trip.

We arrived just as the band began playing wonderful Tyrolia music and it lasted about 20 minutes. They were seated on the terrace of the Golden Roof which made it sort of magical. Loved It!!!

It was gleaming in the bright sun.Literally like pure gold. But you will tend to miss it if you do not know where to look.

The Golden Dach is an important historical landmark in Innsbruck and although it is quiet small, when the sunlight bounces of it, it is eye catching and beautiful. It is even better lit-up at night. The museum is nothing special but it is cheap and you get to see the view from the balcony and there's a video on the... More

This is a must while you are in Old Town of Innsbruck. Why? I don’t know! Because everybody and every guide book says so! Well, yes it is a nice balcony, unusual, a target for cameras and … that’s all!

A weird and wonderful thing to see in the middle of a town. Apparently built in around 1500 and has nearly 3000 copper tiles on it.

The most typical landmark of Innsbruck for me. Set on the nicest street as well, it is really the thing you must see.

I tried to explain the historical interest of this building to my teenager, but he'd have nothing for it. In the end, it is the front of a building. It does call to you, but it is part of the scenery and charm of old town Innsbruck. Nothing more.
