Unfortunately unlike other local wineries Glass House will not take reservations. We arrived and told that there were eight couples ahead of us. The winery could accommodate the crowds by opening their event room or adding more picnic tables. They did not implement a 90 minute time limit stay, like the other wineries have done. After waiting 90 minutes we were told there were four more couples still ahead of us.? The girl who took our name seemed overwhelmed and confused. They are owned by the JRG group but gift cards from JRG are not accepted? Bad service, overpriced wine , unorganized. We did a tasting at the bar with the majority of wines sold out so the selection was limited, ( only one red) but still charged $10 per person for the tasting.

This was our last stop on a tour of a few local wineries. We were not sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. It looked very tidy inside and out. The large tables in the main room are great and encouraged us to invite friends on our next visit. The server behind the counter was a wonderful lady (sorry I do not recall the name) and explained each wine nicely. We originally came with the thought of just tasting some wine but decided to stay and eat as the food we saw was prepared wonderfully.
Well done JRG Group on the menu! We had the Guacamole/crab dip and it was Amazing!
Thank you also to Clair (hope the spelling is right) our server. She was very pleasant to deal with and seamed to really enjoy working there.
If your not sure what to do on a day off or a weekend, rain or shine I highly recommend giving them a visit. I am willing to bet that you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped in first Saturday of May found tables were partitioned with plastic screens and about six feet apart. All staff were very friendly and did a great job of looking after us. On entering we were taken to our tables, server then took our order for drinks, after awhile we then ordered our food. I must say the food was top notch everyone was very happy with their order and great flavour. The staff did a fantastic job. We are planning another evening in the near future. Thank you everyone at Glasshouse winery,

My husband & I went for dinner at the Glass House Estate Winery, this past Saturday, Jan. 21st, 2023. My husband's chicken dinner was so heavily salted, he should have had his dinner remade. The lobster bisque was a very small portion in a medium size bowl! Our coffee was terrible it was like dishwater, we should have sent that back too. They say on their website smart casual dress, one customer was wearing torn jeans in the front from top to bottom! The noise was incredibly loud, & you were seated in front of the bar at various size wooden tables. There was no separate dining room, it was just like being at a bar! We were very disappointed it was far from a fine dining experience. We wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone. The Glass House Estate Winery could take some lessons from Bacchus Bistro, now that's a fine dining restaurant!

Had a great tasting experience at Glass House for a friend’s birthday this past weekend. Did not dine here on this occasion, though I have eaten here before and it was great! I was impressed by a number of the wines as well as the Stellatus bubbly.
Kate was phenomenal and infused our tasting with such positive energy on top of being knowledgeable about the wines.

What could have been a lovely evening ended with us trying to get out of there as quickly as possible!! While we were sitting eating and drinking along with a lot of other people including children at the outdoor seating area and the picnic area a tractor came in and started fogging some chemical on the grapes at exactly the same time the neighbouring blueberry farmer decided to do the same thing so we were stuck between two giant foggers of chemicals being dragged around behind tractors.
When asked about it the staff member who served us had no idea what they were fogging on the grape plants and had no idea how to find out. When I started asking questions I started getting attitude from the staff, it was quite shocking. It’s a beautiful venue but never again if this is the disregard they show for their clients and staff who are subject to inhaling this. I can’t see Arthur De Jong and his lovely family doing this EVER!!! Shame on you JRG. The craziest part is that this started within half an hour of the venue closing and it’s closed today and tomorrow so a better time could have been chosen for the spraying to occur. We cut our evening short, never ordered our meal and left before the tractor came within feet of the picnic tables. There were a few other things before we even got there… their voicemail was totally full all week when I tried to call and ask a question and I emailed them on the Wednesday prior to us visiting on the Sunday and never heard back but I would’ve let all of that slide without a negative review if I hadn’t been subject to breathing in whatever crap they were spraying on their fields while their guests were sitting mere feet away eating and drinking food.

Chaotic and disorganized. My partners, friends and myself visited the winery on Saturday, June 3, 2023. After enjoying superb and personalized service at Township 7 and Chaberton, we were extremely disappointed at the service at Glass House. It appears that the winery is understaffed and the workers are unable to keep up with the crowds. Staff appeared to be extremely stressed. There was trash on the patio and the tables were full of empty glasses, although there is big sign alerting customers to return empty glasses and clean up their table. We complied, but none of the other customers around us did. I feel bad for staff for having to put up with such inconsiderate customers. Not going back.

So pleasantly surprised. I don't usually write reviews, but after the great service, excellent wine and food I simply had to. We arrived for a Saturday night reservation and learned that we were actually there on the wrong day. Being Saturday evening they were very busy, but still managed to accommodate our group. The hostess / server was amazing. Very personable, helpful and kind. The food and wine were great and the overall atmosphere was beautiful, calm and serene. I would highly recommend.

We visited the Glass House's winery for brunch. It was excellent! I had the Glass House Eggs Benny and it was probably the best eggs benny I have ever had. It was noisy but the room has high ceilings that contributed to the din. But it was still very enjoyable!

Wanted to get out as a family in the valley, went to a couple wineries and the the local cidery and our dog and children were welcomed. This was not the case at glass house. I understand that dogs are not loved by all but they wouldn’t even let us tie him up at the fence out front, he had to stay in the car... needless to say we left.
