A good way to start Christmas or even weekend is by going to sauna. Some people say it is the only way to start Christmas.Paracelsus sauna is not always quiet as it is one of the few saunas in the city.Hotels have saunas and some gyms ,too.Today it was peaceful and sun was shining. There are sun loungers on the balcony for taking in the sun which i did .there is a nice view to Mirabell Park from the balcony. There are two Saunas: one is for women and the other is mixed. There is no swimming pool in sauna but if you have bathing suit the pool is next door. Two saunas in the mixed department plus a infra red cabin and a steam bath.Paracelsus is rather small but not bad when it is not crowded.Next year they start building a new sauna in the same place.

This Bad is amazing and shouldn't be missed. Get the sauna experience too, but be ready for the traditional German experience of just a towel. It's not a big deal. Just get over yourself and enjoy the saunas and heated pool. The slide and family area are amazing too!

Without a doubt, this was the worst massage I have ever had in my entire life. There was no head rest so my head hung off the table and my neck was twisted. The woman giving the massage must have been a novice or very poorly trained. Don't waste your 30 euro on this place. Stay away!!!

Short summary:
-pricey- not worth the money
-not for summer - only in case you like naked people around you
-was originally planning to chill on the rooftop pool, however turned out that you are not allowed to wear a bikini/ swimsuit there
-rooftop pool was embarrassing small and would not call it an infinity pool for sure
-complained at the end that we didn’t use the naked area and we payed the full price, instead of 4 hours we stayed 2
-did not get any refund, sorry or whatever apology or empathy
-basically the guy blamed it was our fault.
- totally not nice customer service- never going again!!

I swim weekly and love sauna, well this is my new favourite place on earth to do that now... the pool is beautiful and the views great. It’s also peaceful to have a swim here. Then the sauna part... so relaxing, incredible views on the city and surrounding mountains. Especially the hot salty outdoor pool, with the sun on your face and the fresh mountain air... sigh. Don’t miss this. It’s sparkle clean, beautiful contemporary architecture, friendly staff and laid back atmosphere.

I think the spa has recently gone under refurbishment because when we went in October there had been an opening day the week before. That being said, the place was absolutely stunning! The staff were friendly and helpful and so smiley! The place was immaculate and beautifully clean. The are different swimming pools with different features (climbing walls, slides, jacuzzis and waterfalls). The sauna was the best part. Many different sauna rooms with different temperatures and a huge jacuzzi in the outdoors on the roof! Very romantic at night. But be warned, the sauna is a nudest one so get ready to be comfortable in your birthday suit! Everyone is super cool about it as they’re naked too, everyone minds their own business so please don’t let that put you off! Definitely a must!

Beautiful sauna with nice views over Salzburg from an infinity pool. Very clean and affordable. I had a long day of rain, and relaxing for 2.5 hours in Sauna was so much needed

Hello, I would like to ask some questions about the mud baths. That is on my bucket list of things to do.
