Beautiful theatre

The acoustics here are wonderful and the venue not too big. Attend a concert here if you can. You wont be disappointed.

Learn all about this genius who died at an early age and was not really acknowledged until after his death.

... go to the Mozarteum and sit in on the frequent student recitals. Just go to the modern, main building behind the Hotel Bristol and see what events are posted onthe kiosks in the lobby. You'll be treated to young talent strutting their stuff...free, and in studios with stadiums seating that seat about 100 (like lecture halls). I have little doubt... More

It is university of the city connected to Mirabell palace. While you are enjoying the flowers and status in Mirabell palace garden, you will see buildings of University in front. It is modern construction but interesting with without window architectural concept. Have a seen while you are on your way to old city.

We attended two concerts here as part of the Salzburg Festival Both were wonderful The hall is good but it is the atmosphere, everyone dressed up even for the matinee and the quality of the performers is fantastic We loved our visits to this famous concert hall

We're not exactly huge classical music fans. But still it was worth a visit, though as others have mentioned it felt a bit overpriced after the visit. Decent audio guide and signage describing the exhibits. They could make it a little more interesting for kids by adding more interactive stuff.

Maybe I was disappointed because i expected more. One violin, one piano, one computer when you can match Mozart pictures with the time you think they were taken, and that is it. I should have checked on TripAdvisor about this one. It is not worth it.

Like the birthplace house, lovers of Mozart's music will need no recommendation and will want to visit this museum. They will find much to interest them. I thought it had a bit more to offer than its companion but you would probably want to visit both. However, I would guess that non-music lovers will be less enchanted. As a bonus,... More

While the audio guide was nice, it only took about 30 minutes to get through the information. It's a shame that they don't talk more about Mozart, there seemed to be more information about Leopold.
