Enjoy the rustic old town lined with beautiful cafes, shops, eateries and people. If you are coming by car, parking is an issue in the old town. I came during the Saizburg festival, so it was really festive.

Waste of time and money. 8 people cramped into minivan. Old town small compact. One does not... More

It's a compact 1-2 km stretch in which you can see churches, chapels, cemeteries , shops, street food shops, souvenir shops. Indulge in people watching and eating and shopping.

Across the beautiful bridge, this area is open, nice and refreshing. Stroll around and perhaps have an icecream and it's all good. :)

It is very easy to visit all the attractions in Old Town, just walk along the river. There are many churches to visit and a must see is DOM and St.Peter's.. There are also many museums with Dom quarters being the best. There are also many squares to visit.. Salzburg is closely associated with Mozart and one can visit the... More
