This house is very easy to find in Herrengasse. You walk through a passage way to a picturesque courtyard with wrought iron well. When you slowly look around you will see intricate guttering, stone crests and interesting sculptures. It was quite warm when we went in January and the ice sculpture nativity seen was very close to melting away.

This renaissance court yard must not be missed when visiting the city. It is the seat of the provincial government and well liked by locals as well. In summer time, there are concerts, open air movies, in winter the ice sculptures attract visitors. Make sure to enjoy a drink or dinner in this court yard. Is also part of the... More

This building is spectacular. The inner courtyard is a beautiful example of renaissance architecture and planning. It is also the home of the Styrian regional parliament. A sight not to be missed in the centre of Graz.

This is I believe a unique museum. It is the towns arsenal and as such contains multiples of weaponry and armour, not just one instance. As such there is little accompanying literature but I would recommend the audio guide since it does give some overview. Looked at in its correct context, i.e. the Turkish army reaching the walls of Graz,... More

This courtyard is hidden in the middle of the city, but definitely worth looking into and taking few photos, the building are beautiful. During the christmas time there's also a crib made out of ice which is totally a must see if you are in Graz during that time.

Domenico dell'Aglio designed this beautiful renaissance courtyard. Arcades on all the three floors around. You feel like somewhere in Northern Italy. The main facade of the building is also a masterpiece. Still today this is the seat of the local parlament. It is just a not so llittle marvel.
