this is not the first time to visit this market. from the fresh vegetables and fruits to the handmade items AND real nice florist. this is a must see in Graz.

One of the best food markets I have ever been to - it's not too big and sports just the right size and diversity of stalls. The quality of the products I purchased, whether seasonal fruit and veg or pumpkin seed oil for salads, was simply exquisite. Easy to find for most visitors given the prominent Opera house backdrop.

want to buy pure certified Styrian Kernol pumpkin seed oil? want to buy big kidney beans special from Styria? and flowers and produce and fruits et al...well laid out by local farmers... fun to visit on a Saturday...weekdays is fewer vendors and pretty quiet...but a must visit when in Graz...

A must-see when in Graz. The food is delicious, the atmosphere relaxed and if you stay over in an apartment with a kitchen you must take home some local specialties like potato sausage, smoked ribs and the wonderful handmade Swiss rolls for a lovely home cooked dinner.

One of the best, non-touristy Farmers' Markets that I've ever been to. Such a refreshing change from the overrated Naschmarkt in Vienna. Fabulous produce, sold by...hold your breath...pleasant-dispositioned (gasp! yes) farmers, only happy to answer any questions you have about the produce and how to cook it. No soliciting, no loud hawking. My stash this time - pumpkin seeds & seed oil, brussels sprouts, giant onions, walnuts, tons of cheese and Styrian wine. I bought something or the other from any stall that had a quaint, elderly person manning it. I literally pictured that person rising early, slowly loading stocks on to their van and making their way to Kaiser-Josef-Platz. It is as true-to-earth as it gets. Don't miss this one.

Nice place for a change - I always try to visit the local market. The one in Graz is easy to reach as it is close to the old town center. Lots of local products - try pumpkin oil and wine!

Pretty atmosphere: it seems to be in a small village and not in the second austrian city. Just pay attention to get there within 1.00 pm, otherwise you will find nothing!
