I ate in this restaurant with 2 friends in late June 2019. Our experience can be cataloged as "average-to-low". When you take a walk in the center of Graz (or any city) and sit down for a meal in a beautiful square, you expect the best services you can get. But, unfortunately, this wasn't the case. My first observation is that the restaurant has only German menu, a sign of disrespect for non-german-speaking customers, such as we were. I asked for the waitress' help to translate some dishes but gave up after "schwein=pig" and "Rosmarinkartoffeln=rosemary potatoes". So I choose one random dish. Soon after the waitress took our order a chef-dressed-man came and asked if somebody took our order. Really? So the place is understaffed. Beside the random dish, I ordered also 0.50L Cola. If you think bringing 0.50L Cola is a simple task, you might end up surprised. She completely messed up my drink, and I ended up paying 0.25+0.50L Cola, which was more then I ordered. The best part of the night was the food. Although it was a randomly choosed dish, the taste was really good. Too bad for all the wrong impressions up to that point. My advice: eat somewhere else!

Myself and several family members went to this new toy Museum when we visited Graz for a couple of nights. To be honest we were completely surprised at the amount of toys presented and the large space this central museum occupied. We were lucky as we also saw the Christmas exhibition which was a special treat by the museum for this time of year. Additionally the museum is right in the centre of Graz where all tourist attractions are located. Not only is it central but it is also reasonably priced and interesting to see. This could also be a particularly educational exploration for children. I was particularly impressed with the rocking horse from the 18th century and the collection of ethnic dolls downstairs. A suggestion would be to label dolls so customers know where they are from ie region /country; but on the positive it is also great to guess with friends and family where they are from etc. All toys were presented in immaculate condition and displayed with much thought to detail in order to highlight the real beauty and value of each individual piece. The display also expressed how well each individual piece had being looked after and cared for. This toy museum is highly recommended especially when it is cold outside or rainy. Another bonus is that the museum sells Glühwein and eggnock outside, a good excuse for a drink. Prost 🍷🍸🍾
