Outstanding medieval town Centre

The architecture and preservation in this old town centre is jaw dropping. Apparently (according to our guide) it escaped a lot of bombing in WW2 and that explains how historically intact it is. Plenty of cafes and a relaxing place to spend some time.

The Bummerlhaus is one of many nice and impressive buildings you are going to find in the Stadplatz from Steyr.

Nice and peaceful town, excellent for walks with a little boy. Highly recommended if one wants to break away from the crazy rush of any metropolis.

Steyr is lovely! Definitely one of the nicest towns we saw while traveling through Austria! Beautiful Buildings set alongside a lovely river.
