We took the 25 min Linz City Express today (seated in carriage with English commentary) and it was well worth it to learn about the city and get your bearings.

Linz is not a huge city, so this little street train can show you most of the main sights. This gives you an idea of where you might want to go next. Very pleased to find that the first carriage had English commentary. Not so...More

There are three different routes through this pictureseque city, the "trains" (we nicknamed it the noddy train) are based in the large central square with its beautiful buildings, a joy to sit in one of the many cafes watching the world go by, the basic...More

This train ride takes about 30-40 minutes but it lacks so much. Yes, they take you sigh-seen through the city but the information provided is not very interesting. I would just walk through the town and enjoy it that way.
