We found this village taking the high road from Montesquiue des Alberes to Carrefour, followed the signs for Vieux village and then saw signs for the Chateau and belvedere. Quick walk up, lovely views and then walked back to the village for coffee. Perfect.

A good little walk up the hill. Best done in the cool of the morning or evening when it is a bit cooler. The old town village feel is good

Walk up the small winding streets to the top to see the wonderful view It is quite steep but worth the hard work.

If you visit Laroque take 30 minutes for a stroll through the narrow winding streets of this charming old village up to the small old chateau and enjoy the view to Les Alberes mountains and the Mediterranean across the Roussillon plain.
