Just to the west of the casino building are steps leading to the entrance to the small but very lovely garden with great views of both the sea, the marina, the yachts, and the sea facing side of the casino building, which is beautiful. Highly recommend. Bring a camera!

Whilst on a walking tour of Monte Carlo we did the tourist trail of the archaelogical superbly kept buildings overlooking the harbours with their huge and expensive yachts and motor launches and promenades and cafes. The area around the Casino just past the Opera House is located in a beautiful well maintained planted garden with large trees and shrubs in bloom, also adorned with some statues and a mini garden of cactii. The Casino car parking area has some fabulous sports cars outside and this place is for the super rich but one can still indulge oneself. Finally got to see Monaco and enjoyed the visit.

It is easy to overlook the garden of the Monte Carlo casino once you get caught up with the glitz and glamour of the incoming gamblers arriving on their luxury sports cars. The garden is a short walk to the back of the casino towards the water. The garden has the typical plants and trees. A relaxing walk will take you to the bottom with a fantastic view of the harbour which rivals the higher view of the boats from the Rock of Monaco.

The gardens surrounding the Monte Carlo Casino aren't quite as spectacular as Monaco's Jardin Exotique, but they're well-worth enjoying in leisurely fashion.

At the side of the Casino and behind the Cafe de Paris is the lovely Jardin du Casino. At this time of year it is mostly lush green which is serene and relaxing within the busy environment outside of the garden. You can find sculptures and monuments interspersed with the plants and trees. Well worth visiting if you have time.
