Easy to get tickets on match days
Sep 2018 • Friends
Despite being a leading Ligue 1 club, AS Monaco do not have substantial support and it was easy to get tickets from a wide range of prices for a league match on our Friday evening visit - €10 to €80 options with our €35 tickets about on the half way line. The home fans are pretty quiet, but the visitors Nimes were loud and clear throughout the game. A good experience to watch a game in a different country

nice walkway
Sep 2018 • Solo
The Champions Promenade is a football hall of fame walkway between the Tunnel and the Grimaldi Forum. I walked along the Promenade to & from my hotel into the city. Its a nice walkway to spot the famous footballers. There is construction ongoing, so no sea views as you walk along the promenade

Construction killed the view!
Aug 2018 • Solo
Due to the major work to create a land extension in Monaco, there is and won't be a view on the Champions Promenade for several years: instead a printed banner on a fence. The worst is that if you see the other side of the fence, there is one small barge only so far and nothing unsightly.
the promenade is otherwise interesting but very small. It starts the Japanese garden and ends at the Larvottto beach, so 100 or 200 meters! All these reviews in Monaco make you think it's a big place but it's not: beware and you can see everything in 1 day.

Nice walk
May 2018 • Couples
Nice area for a walk. There is construction going on to the south so a large temporary wall is in place. But don't let that stop you.

Nice walkway
Apr 2018 • Solo
A relatively new addition to Monaco's raised esplanade, the football hall of fame is interesting to stroll between the Grimaldi Forum and the Japanese Gardens. Unfortunately, the major land reclamation and building project that Monaco is undergoing means you can no longer see the views of the sea from the promenade for the foreseeable future, but football fans will want to check out all the names and immortalised footprints.

The Best of the Best !
Oct 2017 • Family
As a Soccer tragic and player still after 56 years I stumbled (literally) onto these footprints while walking along the Monte-Carlo Harbour foreshore ! The area was boarded up for some works and nearly covered the exhibits but luckily I saw them ! The best players in my opinion of the best ! Pele, Maradonna, Georgie Best, Giggys, Zinadane, etc, etc. It's the closest I'll ever get to them !!

Walk with the famous
Nov 2017 • Solo
Down by the water, kind of hidden, you find the footprints of some of the greatest football players from around the world. Right now the view over the water was blocked, but you kind of look down anyway to see who is the next player and how big feet he had. Fun and for free!

A very cool place for football fans, plenty of famous signatures. Should get a few more as there isn’t any from 2015 until now. Get Falcão, Bernardo Silva, players that played for Monaco with success
