The performance was excellent. The theater is small but ornate and beautiful. It's designed by the same architect who built the Paris opera. Great acoustics. The seats are a bit small, but otherwise a great experience in Monaco. Enter the casino and buy a ticket...More

The opera house shares the building that the casino is in. You can walk down to the entrance of the opera inside the building. There is also a nice spot to sit right outside the door.

Arriving for an opera is a dream come true, considering the numerous visits to the pint-size principality. The setting alone is worth a visit. It's spectacularly ornate with drapes of red velvet, lots of gold leaf and frescoes of prancing puttim everywhere
