Ski gondola is only a short walk from the hotel. There are several good cafés at the foot of the slopes , along with a ski -hire shop and an excellent ski school. There are green, blue, red and black slopes, accessible via a 4- man lift and a 6- man lift. Great, friendly atmosphere.

Visited Arinsal twice now and have enjoyed each stay. The connected resorts of Pal and Arinsal are great for beginners and were perfect for my boys' first ski trip this year. Arinsal is a very small resort set in one vally so it's not really possible to get lost! Pal is a little larger but still easy to navigate. Skiers... More

I went with a few friends in December, so early on in the ski season. There wasn't a great amount of snow, and it was clear on the lower runs the fake snow makers had been on, however going at this time meant that there was very few people on the slopes and there was no queues for ski lifts.... Great for beginners, not so for experienced skiers. Lots of snow on the main slopes thanks to the snow cannons, but the runs are short, and a competent skier can ski every run on both sides of the mountain in under 4 hours. Great of you are learning or improving, but not of you want testing long wide pistes. Only... More

Slopes ideal for beginners but as we only had minimal snow there were alot of people crowded onto the lower slopes which were boarder line dangerous in my opinion. Going up further resulted in much safer skiing conditions for the beginners in our group. Wider runs, not too many people, lots of spots to stop for a hot chocolate.... No... More

Quite a large area for riding but the conditions were really poor as with the whole of Europe. Pray for snow!

A relatively small resort in comparison to the french slopes i've been to however, I found they had a run for all abilities and offered some great off piste runs. Overall a very picturesque place, and great food for a reasonable price. Would recommend for intermediate snowboarders/skiers.

I brought my girlfriend to this resort for her first skiing experience. The instructor was wonderful and had her going down a large beginner run by the end of the first two hours. Various indoor and outdoor dining with pleasant and efficient staff and reasonable pricing all around.

An excellent beginners resort. Arinsal offers more of a challenge than Pal decent for intermediates. Also Arinsal is above the tree line so you get more of a big mountain feeling. Arinsal also has great night life with every night being a party. If you are a better skier make sure you head over to Arcalis where there is no... More
