My partner and I have just returned from a week's skiing holiday in VallNord. We went on 17th March and had perfect conditions - blue skies during the day and sub-zero conditions at night. However, this year, the weather was almost too warm meaning managing...More

Despite conditions not being great, all the runs and lifts were open. Good variety of runs if you have an area pass. Runs are fairly short so advance skiers/snowboarders would quickly get board. Great place for beginners and apres ski is very cheap

Not the greatest for advanced skiers but a relatively large area and far less busy than GrandValira especially at weekends or during holidays. PAL has skiing in the tree line whereas Arinsal is much higher and so more exposed but the snow is generally better....More

Brilliant resort to ski if you don't like the crowds and queuing of the Alps. We went in half term and still found it relatively quiet. Lovely range of greens, blues and reds to choose from. Probably only 2 or 3 blacks.

Lots of slopes across Pal and Arinsal for a range of abilities. It can get very busy during peak season and school holidays. There are numerous chairlifts and button lifts across the resort. There are also 2 gondolas to get you onto the slopes and...More
