Not much to say really - a nice green area although not particularly beautiful, it would be a great place if you have kids as there’s plenty of room for them to run around and a big play area.

I did not really enjoyed this park and I guess it was because of the weather. I will give it another chance tomorrow morning :(

It’s really a good place in the summer for the kids after school to run around. I guess tourists might like it but there are so many other beautiful things to do with nature in Andorra not in the city.......up to you really

Nice green area in Andorra - a break from the multi storey buildings. Lit up at night and a range of activities within to suit all ages.

It is very nice park area to rest before you again get to the multiple stores in Andorra. Just clean and nice.

I often take my little boy down to the Parc Central, it´s a great place for him to practice riding his bike or his scooter as it´s really flat and safe with a nice path running through which joins up to a long walk along the river. If you are from Andorra or ever visited, you will know that finding flat space to learn to ride a bike isn´t the easiest thing and you mostly end up in carparks etc which are not ideal.Everywhere else is steep hills which I´m sure the riders of the Tour de France are cursing right now :)
There is also a skateboard/scooter park which is the usual cement setup with some crazy steep hills for the more daring kids.

There is quite a lot of play equipment for young children, however, my 8year old has grown out of a lot of it now and points out to me that it is mostly for ´little kids´. There is usually a tall spiderweb frame, it´s made of rope that is pulled out in four directions from a high pole and has interconnecting ropes that kids can climb along, my boy still loves this piece of equipment and gives me heart attacks every time he climbs up to the top, however, when we visited yesterday (Jul 11th) much to my son´s acute disappointment, the spiderweb was missing. The area has been fenced off but the mainl center pole is still there so we are hoping the rope has just been taken away for renovation or replacement.

My little man was devastated in the way only an 8yr old can pull off, however, after a walk around and an ice-cream, the world was right again.

I assured him that it would probably be back soon and better than ever, please let me be correct on that one, otherwise he won´t let me live it down for ages.

Another great thing about the park is that you can take your dog in there with you, as long as yo are prepared to keep your dog under control and pick up any mess.

The park has a cafe and public toilets so it´s great if you are going for a family day out.
The pond has ducks but please remember to not feed the ducks bread as it has no nutritional value and is very bad for them, you are better off stopping by one of the local pet stores and buying proper pellets, birds have been known to starve to death after being fed bread as it fills up their tummies but doesn´t provide anything of nutritional value.

If you do go to the park, make sure you take a blanket to sit on, there are lovely patches of grass but sometimes it can be a bit wet from the dew. There is enough room on the grass areas for kids to play football on and I have seen kids having massive water balloon fights on hot days, so that might be an idea if you want to have fun with your kids and cool off at the same time.

The park has a wonderful atmosphere and well worth a visit. The only downside I can really think of is the amount of tall edges which often obscure the view of your kids. Andorra is quite a safe place for children but I have lived in a number of places overseas that aren´t quite as safe and I can´t shake that paranoia of somebody snatching my son when I´m not looking. We have a rule between us that if my little boy can´t see me, then I can´t see him and he has to move back into my line of sight, however, kids get excited in playgrounds and he occasionally forgets this when playing with other kids, especially if they are playing chasey.

One other thing I wanted to mention about the park is it´s not just for kids, at lunchtime office employees venture out of their cubicles to get some fresh air, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and feel the sun on their face. The gardens are full of stunning flowers and everyone respects the ethos of not picking the flowers so that everyone can enjoy them-.I probably haven´havent done this park justice, however if are in Andorra and you have kids, i´s definitely worth a visit.
