We enjoyed the trip very much. Cyprus was a wonderful surprise as we have never been there before. The trip was organized very well, the bikes were very good, the routes were beautiful and allowed for a choice between alternatives, the hotels were good. Helen and Al were very helpful and accessible.

As an avid cyclist and wanting to make the most of 11 nights in Cyprus, I stumbled across Wheelie Cyprus and what a find it was. Exactly what I needed. A fantastic Felt road bike delivered efficiently and ‘covid safely’. I was given everything I needed including tips of where to go! I thoroughly enjoyed my few days exploring the roads and beautiful scenery of Cyprus and would highly recommend this service.

What can I say or add that will be different to the other rave reviews except to say that I concur with everything said. Well lets try anyway. We are a group of mountain biking enthusiasts, tried and tested other European destinations and we have just returned from a 5 night, five day cycling trip with Wheelie Cyprus. Our program was similar to most of the reviewers - 2 nights at Paradisos Hills Lysos, 2 nights at Y&P in Latchi and 1 night at Drousia Heights, Drousia. We rode: Lysos Loop, Lysos to Latchi, Latchi to Fontana Amorosa, Latchi to Drousia and Witches Gorge. All the rides were spectacular, the written cards and the Garmin GPS worked well and even though we were hesitant in the beginning about a self-guided trip, we are now sold on the concept as this gave us so much freedom and independence and allowed us the flexibility and ability to leave later, take longer breaks, stip en-route for coffees etc. From the very beginning and the planning stages, the service of Helen and Alistair was impeccable - the incessant questions and patience in answering them, the logistical planning and the payment stage, the provision of the bikes, the 'meet and greet' the technical service during the trip, the booking of our COVID testing, the hints and suggestions of what to do, where to eat, booking of restuarants etc. You both took away the stress from us and made it all so easy (well except for some of the tough hills). Our favorite hotel was also Paradisos Hills and yes the beds were too firm, the Y&P was okay but placed perfectly on the boardwalk and the Drousia Heights was the perfect way to end the 5 days with some luxury, beatiful refreshing pool and sumptous breakfast and good coffee and drinks. One other highlight was the Vassilikon Winery with excellent wine and food and the view and vibe of the place. So......if anyone is looking for someone to plan their cycling or walking trip to beautiful Cyprus, you need to look no further. You have found them. Thanks Helen and Alastair on behalf of all of us for the perfect and well rounded cycling trip. Yamas!!

Wow Mark. Thank you SO SO much for such an amazing review. We were so pleased to welcome visitors back to Cyprus after what has been a Covid eternity. It was an absolute pleasure organising your"perfect" holiday as you kindly told us over a coffee before departure. We loved meeting you all and will happily share more local tips with you all if you return with your families in the future. We wish you all a happy summer. Stay safe and keep pedalling. Best Wishes Helen and Alistair

Firstly I would like to thank Helen and Al for giving us a wonderful holiday with 5* service. We are a family of 5; 2 girls, 18 & 16, and a boy, 14. We visited 18-24 October 2020 and the weather was perfect, in the mid 20s and slightly cooler in the evenings. Arranging the holiday with Helen was effortless. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the Paradisos Hotel in Lysos for 2 nights. This is a charming family run hotel and was probably our favourite. Nothing was too much trouble for the host. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and we also had a packed lunch for the first cycling day at a very reasonable price. It also has a lovely pool, although it was unheated and a bit cold. The views, air & light in Lysos are magnificent. Only negative was that the beds were rather too firm. On arrival at the hotel, Al and Helen gave us our fab sturdy bikes and all the kit and showed us the different cycling routes that we could take using the GPS. Our first cycle was enjoyable, with some uphill pushing, and we enjoyed a swim on our return mid-afternoon. on the second day, we cycled to the Y&P Hotel in Latchi. This hotel is right next to the sea and is really a restaurant with rooms. However, although the rooms were basic, they were comfortable with gorgeous sea views. We had our first lunch at the Y&P and breakfasts, which were nice. We ate at other seafood restaurants in the evenings and enjoyed a swim in the sea on both days there. We then explored the coastal roads. Unfortunately, I had a problem with my pedal bracket. However, this was soon fixed by Al without any fuss. Our 4th cycle should of been to the Droushia Heights Hotel but this was quite a climb and so we cheated and got a lift instead. We enjoyed a bit of sunbathing by the modern pool and then walked to a nearby Winery for some wine tasting, which was great fun. The hotel is new and our junior suites were lovely. On both evenings we walked up into the village to local tavernas for supper. We were treated very well and on the first evening the next table sent us a bottle of the local Zivana (fire water). Our last cycle ride was through the Witches Gorge, which was stunning. There was off road beforehand, which we found to be quite challenging with quite a lot of bike pushing. Overall, this was an extremely successful family holiday. However, we were not quite fit enough for some of the routes as we are only Sunday morning plodders. Nevertheless, a memorable holiday. Thank you.

Thank you so much for such a fabulous detailed review of your self-guided cycling holiday. It is very much appreciated and it was a real pleasure meeting you all and having some much needed contact with super friendly clients after a Covid-decimated season. We are so happy you were able to make it to Cyprus for your holiday, despite having to jump through hoops to obtain all the necessary travel documents/PCR tests etc before travel. Thank you again and we hope to maybe see you again one day.
