We tried this trail during a rare overcast day. It took about 4 hours as we decided to take our time. Hikers could certainly halve that time. The trail itself starts with a hefty uphill journey (if you start at the baths of Aphrodite), joins the other trails in the shade of an enormous tree at the remains of a... More

This nature trail is well-marked and takes about 2.5 hours to complete. You start at the Baths of Aphrodite (there was a snake swimming in her bath when we were there!) then just follow the trail. As long as you are reasonably fit it is not difficult and takes in some great views across the Bay of Chrysochou along the... More

We stumbled upon this trail while visiting Aphrodites bath. We were not prepared for it and abandoned the trail after about a 90 minute walk, mostly uphill on very stony paths. We have spoke to others and we are told it is well worth while doing (infact one of the most famous walks in Cyprus!) but be prepared for a... More

The Adonis - Aphrodite nature trail is one of the most unique trails of the island. Featuring uphill and downhill paths overlooking breathtaking views over rough terrain and a plethora of flora especially during March, the path is definitely worthwhile especially for those looking to explore the scenic part of Cyprus.

A lovely walk with spectacular views. The Aphrodites Nature Trail is a bit more of a climb but the views are better.

We did the mistake and started our tour at 10:00. You should start latest a 8:00 to elude from midday heat. Especially the way up should be done not at this time. When you made it up you will have any number of fabulous lookouts. In summertime you should bring a lot of water (it took us about 4,5 hours... More

Not a walk for the infirm. I would recommend sturdy trainers as a minimum and a good supply of water and snacks. The hills can be steep and a little challenging in places and the signage is not always easily apparent. However, the views along the way are well worth the effort both the scenery and the flora and fauna.

We found this climb much steeper than we thought , but we competed it . Beautiful views and peaceful. I would recommend hiking shoes, or at least trainers.. We climbed in sandals so our feet were very dusty by the end . Loved it though.
