Exceptionally Popular

We paid a first visit in a while to Fireman’s Beach and although we arrived fairly early the beach was exceptionally busy. Plenty of Locals and Tourists enjoying the June Sunshine and the very clean clear Waters. Good to see the Lifeguard on duty and there are plenty of Sunbeds and Parasols available. There are amenities available in the form of a Beach Bar and Snack Bar as well as Toilet facilities. There is a bit of a walk to the actual Beach and it’s a little steep if there is a Disabled person or if you have difficulty walking. That aside it’s a good option for a few hours or all day.

Sad it has changed

I used to love this place but since they built the new bar , they have lost the personal touch that made it so special.
It appears to be all about the money now : (

Idyllic

A lovely secluded bay. Shallow water , making warm still in the later months. Plenty of sunbeds (charged locally). A perfect place to relax and let the time whirl by .

3 Beaches & A Fab Walk
Oct 2019
We were staying at a villa in Kapparis and just a short walk down the road & we had the use of 3 lovely beaches.
Firemans beach was the main one with a large cafe and eating area, sun loungers and all amenities that you need. We didn't use this beach however as it was quite busy and shallow & we preferred the one next to it.
Scouts Beach was beautiful, beach shoes recommended for entering into the water apart from the end right nest to the little cove area.
We spent a couple of days down on this beach but weren't charged for the loungers as the guy said the weather wasn't good enough! I still had my factor 50 on and spent half the day snorkelling around.
The sea is rich with life and even though you wont see anything spectacular there is so many different areas of the cove that you will be amazed at the amount you see.
There is good disabled access to the beach and loungers for disabled too.
There is a little shack at the top of the beach serving drinks, snacks, ice creams and the like. We had a freshly cooked burger and a cider which was very reasonably priced. There are also toilets and a shower which is very handy.
Dog friendly Beach was a fab little beach We only visited one afternoon/evening to soak up some of the late sun. Soon there was dogs and their owners everywhere enjoying the beach and the water and was great fun seeing the little community coming together in such a beautiful setting. The parasols and loungers are mostly very aged but all free to use.
The coastline has a fabulous walk where you can explore many little coves and beaches, we only made it as far as Trinity beach but you can explore further. It is an easy walk and plenty of places to stop and enjoy the beauty!

Lovely little beach
Jul 2019
I live fairly near here so visit regularly. Lovely sand, parking good. A bit of a steep path to walk doe but relatively short. Cafe bar on site with average food and prices. Pretty good scenery. Only issue is very very busy in summer, but still a good place for a swim
