Out of operation!

We walked ca 30min to the mall, specifically knowing that there’s a playground. No info about it on their website (which is closed), FB page, telephone number does not exist! Poor service and very negative experience.

The play area is ok but they are under staffed. Upon arrival there was no one at the entrance to serve us and we had to wait 5 minutes for anyone to even notice we were there. When we entered the table we sat at was dirty and was not cleaned the whole time we were there. Not once was I approached and offered a drink. The toilets are also dirty and there are no mirrors where the sinks are. Also there were a lot of older kids allowed to play in the younger kid areas and the trampolines had 5-6 children jumping on each / no staff were there to control this! It’s a shame really as Looney Land was so much better at its last location.

Good for some time out of the sun

Having had a look at places to visit with little ones in Cyprus we decided to give this place a go. Really reasonably priced and you can come and go all day so could easily go out for food in the mall restaurants and go back in again. We had to buy trainer socks as we didn’t take any but they were reasonably priced and quite nice too. Lots to do in the play area. We hadn’t gone to the outside area but may visit again this holiday and would try that. It was very quiet when we went and I can imagine it feeling quite different when busy. The one big down side was how easy it would be for your little one to walk out as there is no security gate and the lady on the entrance fee booth goes off to do other jobs. It would be easy for someone to come in or for a little one to go out. We sat at the the table right next to the door and even with quite sensible kids would not feel comfortable sitting anywhere else. It would be a huge improvement if they fixed this as clearly not everyone can sit right next to the doorway. Shame as otherwise really good and clean too.

Kids loved it!
Jun 2018 • Family
We went here on a week day when it was very quiet. The price was very reasonable and you could come and go as many times as you liked in a day. The place seemed clean and the staff were actually cleaning whilst we were there. Our kids loved it and we will be returning,Thank you.

Children loved this place
Apr 2018 • Family
Visited with our grandchildren several times over the 2018 Easter period. They seemed to enjoy this place and burn off some energy. Allowed one parent/grandparent to shop while others supervised. Great value for the entry price of €5. Per child, no charge for adult, drinks reasonable prices. Toilets clean.
Some of the electronic items didn’t seem to be working, but the children didn’t seem bothered.
The only bad point is that some adults do not supervise, to the point of completely ignoring there children once inside. Older children playing in the under 3 section, and to many children on a trampoline at once. But if you are supervising yours it shouldn’t be an issue.
The whole place seemed to be very clean, at the time of our visit.

Getting worse by the day

This children's play center has the potential to be something amazing! But it's not.

It's being run by 3-4 employees on a daily basis, who are expected to take care of ticket sales, running the cafeteria, security, cleanliness, and monitoring the activities. Naturally it is impossible for 3 people to manage this, so the result is:

The rubber lyno floors were filthy, with days old gunk on them.
Nobody was monitoring the activities resulting in older kids playing in areas which were designed only for the young ones. 5-6 children on the trampolines at one time, where there should only be one. Children with no socks on. Adults walking into the play area with shoes on. Tables covered in old coffee stains and empty cups.

Despite the drawbacks above, our 3 year old daughter loved playing here, and it was also convenient for us, as it is in the Paphos mall. We therefore returned twice more. What I noticed during these visits is that each day more and more games and toys were becoming inoperative. Things were breaking down left and right. So I complained. I argued that if only half the games were working I should pay half the price!

The ladies working there are lovely; very nice indeed. They are always smiling and doing the best they can with their limited resources. It was explained to us that the owners of this park actually live in Nicosia, and they don't even care enough to visit the place, let alone ensure it is serviced!

I was told that reports are given to the manager on a daily basis, pointing out everything that is not working or which needs to be changed. But nothing gets done.

In short, the owners of the Looney Park appear to havespent their money once, made their investment, and now all they want to do is open their hands and take your money. They dont employ professionals to clean the place, they don't service the games on a regular basis, and they dont have staff monitoring the children for reasons of safety.

It's only a matter of time until a serious accident happens, either by a small child getting crushed by a ten year old on the trampoline, or by one of the electric gadgets malfunctioning and electrocuting a child.

If the owners don't take a good look at how this playcenter is deteriorating, I can't see it staying open much longer.

An unsafe place for everyone
Aug 2016 • Family
OMG. What an unsafe environment for both adults and kids. We went during the middle of August holidays after we invited another family to join us. Our kids had a conflict with a 3-4 year old boy who was bothering, threatening and hitting them. The boy's father (a stocky, muscly, full of tattoos type of guy) who never admitted his child was troublesome, started a fight by telling my husband "Why do you look at me like this", "Do you know who I am" , "I am very crazy, so be careful". He then threatened to hit my husband and said that if there were no witnesses he would kill him. All these with speechless and horrified people around us. And guess what? No management, no security around, apart from a woman who sells drinks and another one who is supposedly looking after the kids inside the play area (who proved she is only there physically). After I called for the Mall's security (who I must admit they came within a minute) the man was questioned and we were given the following answer: "The man said he got too angry, that's why he said what he said!!" No actions, no consequences. And I am asking: a person who threatens to kill, shouldn't be sacked from the area and have the police take over? Why should we, the victims, leave the area instead?
A woman also appeared at some point, introducing herself as the manager. Really!!?
Were was she all this time? Taking her drink at the nearby cafes? I believe that if a management can not resolve these kind of incidents they should immediately shut down the business. If they allow people from controversial background to get into an area full of kids, they should reconsider running the business. Please, people, for your children's safety, stay away from this place.

We have been there with 3yo - perfect escape from sun! But just keep in mind - everyone needs socks when entering soft area. For those who didn't take it - they sell at cashier

Great place for the little ones
Jun 2015 • Family
Trying to find somewhere to take my 15month old child i found this on trip advisor and off we went for a stroll.

Located in a massive shopping mall which was totally unexpected it looked good from the outside and in we went. They did not charge me for my little one however they are very strict on everyone wearing socks whilst playing in there including adults if you are supervising your children in the play areas as my other half found out but if you do not have socks they will sell you some for €1.50 (trainer socks)

There was enough to keep her entertained although there could have been slightly more for babies/todlers but we made the most of what was there.

They had bouncy castles outside and little rides (some @ 2x€0.50 if im right) they have this area where kids can climb into turrets and shot balls which i even found quite fun and im 33 yrs old. there was a bowling area of some de-script and out door area to sit out on and drink a beer if you want.

Really nice place to entertain the kids and get them out of the sun for a while and if they still want some sun then you have the out door area where the bouncy castles are.

Staff could of been a bit more friendly as the majority of people over there seem to be but staff in Looney land must not be getting enough sun but im just nit picking now as it was a really good place for kids and one worth visiting
