What an amazing day! My family and I got to feed the amazing Giraffe (10€). Karen who looks after him was incredible! She told us all about him and was so kind and friendly she really made our experience! We then fed, stroke and had photographs with the gorgeous elephant (50€) and Karen gave us a lovely talk on the elephant. Then Mohammed, his Mamet, made our experience with the lovely Elephant, calm and so enjoyable. He even stays in a house all year round, day and night next to the elephant’s house. Mohammed walks the elephant around the zoo at 6am every morning five times so she gets enough exercise! We then walked in the lemur enclosure with a cup of food each (5€) and the lemurs jumped all over us! It was such a good experience!
Although, we saw reviews before about some of the enclosures being a little small, after talking to Karen, we realised what a family feel ethos the park has. The animals are so loved and well cared for! Would definitely come back here again!

A fantastic zoo. The highlight for us was the extra paid for animal experiences once inside which were only £5-10 euros and well worth it. The lemur experience was so good we did it three times. The food and drink was so fair priced.
It did get very hot there and we wished we had took advantage the after 3pm entrance slot when it had cooled off a bit.
The entrance for 2 adults and 2 children was €40 which we thought was really reasonable for a zoo in comparison to UK zoos
A great few hours spent
Top tip take an older tshirt a spare if you are planning to do the lemur experience as you come our absolutely filthy from their little feet

We decide to go to the zoo but didn't have a car. No problem, 3 days a week the zoo will pick you up at your hotel and drop you back( all for a small fee) You can book this on line and was really easy and they got back to us straight away. The zoo had lots of birds but had other animals like lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants andmoneys, the whole lot. My favorite bit was the Lemur enclosure. For just 5 euro you can buy a cup of food and interact with the Lemurs . They were friendly , they came and sat on you while they picked what they wanted to eat out of your cup. They well looked after and the lady who ran that part was friendly and knowledgeable. It was the best part of the zoo for me. worth a visit

I honestly can not believe how amazing this day was! Me and my friend went and spent €35 each that was to feed the giraffe (€10 between two of us) feed the elephant (€50 between two of us) feed the lemurs (€5 each) and watched the bird show which is included in the ticket price. If it wasn’t for Karen who works in the giraffe exhibit, I don’t think I’d of done any of this, I am terrified of everything animal wise that comes near me but I have managed with the help of Karen to conquer a fear! The most surreal day and I would happily do it all over again! The giraffe was so friendly, gentle and loved the interactions with everyone and I have not developed a soft spot an there up there with my fave animals 🦒😍. We also got to stroke one of the zebras! The elephant was also very friendly and even done a few tricks. You can see all animals here have a great relationship with the zoo staff and I have learnt so much just within the space of 3/4 hours being here! Amazing day would highly recommend to go and do these experiences!!🦒🐘🐯🦁🦓

This zoo has everything and great for children,
A lot of the previous reviews have been very negative and yes some areas need a bit updating however the amount of animals that are there to see is more than you would get in most other zoo’s
We booked our tickets via trip advisor which worked out cheaper and skipped the queue.
We met a lovely English lady at the giraffe experience and she was amazing
we fed the giraffes for €10 for the family and was my sons favourite things to do of the whole holiday. Great interactions and lovely to do it in his own environment. Worth doing for a little extra

Just a quick review!!
This Zoo is great lots to do for the kids too, enclosures were clean and yes some of the enclosures need to be bigger for certain animals. I would say come to visot theoo as the money is well and truly needed.
Cost 50 euros for x2 adults and x2 children, 10 euros to feed giraffe and 50 euros
to have an experience with the elephants!!
The Giraffe feeding was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The British lady (sorry forgot her name) was fantastic and truly made the feeding experience worth it.
Management need to take a look at the size of some off the enclosures for certain animals like the Lions, Giraffe and elephant!!!!

I saw the "lone elephant" ( another reviewers description although accurate) and then spoke to the keeper and found out the full story behind the elephant, who is a rescue , and did have another elephant until he sadly died. The elephant is actually one of the best looked after animals in the zoo if you stop and take the time to talk to the handler and keeper. They are also trying to bring in a new friend but covid stopped it. Her section is also beautifully clean and has a inside cool water tank for her to drink from.
All zoos have some cramped cages and this zoo is no different. They are rebranding what was once a bird park ( with an amazing show) into a zoo slowly but doing it well.
It is beautiful clean, no litter, no poop in enclosures and although I'd like to see the birds with more space to swoop and perhaps the duck island with less space - it is a nice zoo.

I did not like this zoo at all. I am not against zoos as long as they have the welfare of the animals at the heart of everything they do. Unfortunately, this is not the case at Pafos Zoo. They have many animals in enclosures that are far too small for the size or the number of animals in them. The enclosures are very basic and lacking in stimulation for the animals. The majority of the animals were very docile looked unhappy. This is the first zoo that I have been too with a distinct lack of zookeepers present. In fact, the only staff we saw during our visit were the staff at the enclosures offering animal experiences for extra money. Such a shame for the animals in the care of this zoo.

Business
We visited a few days before Christmas and were slightly disappointed. Many of the facilities were closed or unavailable such as the restaurant and the museums as well as the animal experiences.
Positives - Nicely landscaped zoo with several birds on display and an interesting reptile house. There were lots of other animals to see and we spent a good 3 hours exploring the zoo. The bird show was short and sweet but worth visiting. Just remember your COVID pass!
Negatives - Some of the animal enclosures were quite small, especially those housing the birds. Some of the animals appeared unhappy as they paced up and down their cages. We also felt that the zoo could have included an experience as part of the entry fee to make up for the lack of facilities on offer.

We went in the middle of the week and it was fairly quiet, you could walk around the zoo at your own pace and taking in all the animals, we saw all of the animals at the zoo on offer. Majority of the animals looked happy and well cared for. There were a couple of experiences you could take part in throughout the day such as interacting with the elephant which was quite pricey, 50 euros per group of up to 5 people and feed the giraffe which was 20 euros we decided not to do these due to the cost and the fact there was only one animal instead of multiple. The parrot and owl show was free and had a few viewings throughout the day, it was amazing the parrots are very talented, and well done to the staff for training them! The brought out a baby cub at the end which was very cute but again if you wanted to get close to it, 20 euros. The zoo itself is great and you can walk around it in just over half a day if going leisurely but there were lots of extra costs as you walked round, which was a shame as just made it seem like there were begging for money. I would have rather paid an extra 5 or 10 euros in my ticket price and had all the experiences included. Overall it was a good day out and I would recommend it to people, especially the parrot and owl show, even if you don't think its for you, you will be pleasantly surprised! Just be prepared to pay extra for experiences.

We had the elephant experience last week and someone has written on trip advisor that the elephant tusks have been removed people to feed it. The guide told us that this is untrue - no one has removed the elephant tusks for feeding. He was very upset.....he kept saying please tell people this is not true.
