- 4321R29 contributionsGood Day OutWe went in the middle of the week and it was fairly quiet, you could walk around the zoo at your own pace and taking in all the animals, we saw all of the animals at the zoo on offer. Majority of the animals looked happy and well cared for. There were a couple of experiences you could take part in throughout the day such as interacting with the elephant which was quite pricey, 50 euros per group of up to 5 people and feed the giraffe which was 20 euros we decided not to do these due to the cost and the fact there was only one animal instead of multiple. The parrot and owl show was free and had a few viewings throughout the day, it was amazing the parrots are very talented, and well done to the staff for training them! The brought out a baby cub at the end which was very cute but again if you wanted to get close to it, 20 euros. The zoo itself is great and you can walk around it in just over half a day if going leisurely but there were lots of extra costs as you walked round, which was a shame as just made it seem like there were begging for money. I would have rather paid an extra 5 or 10 euros in my ticket price and had all the experiences included. Overall it was a good day out and I would recommend it to people, especially the parrot and owl show, even if you don't think its for you, you will be pleasantly surprised! Just be prepared to pay extra for experiences.Visited March 2020Written March 15, 2020
- SarahwivakNorthampton, United Kingdom345 contributionsGreat day outI'm not normally a huge zoo fan but I was traveling with my niece and she really wanted to visit. The trip was booked through the local bus tour company and was €21 including park tickets, although the return bus was fairly early if I went again I'd use a local bus. The zoo was reasonably well kept and the animals were in large cages. My niece paid extra to feeds the giraffe and elephant while I happily stood back and took photos. The zoo also has a small cafe for drinks and snacks, plenty of public toilets and is well sign posted throughout.Visited February 2020Written February 27, 2020
- Laineylou17127 contributionsLovely zooVisited in february 2 adults and one child Caught the zoo bus from our hotel. Lots of birds and other animals. Also opportunity to feed lemurs for 5 euro per family which we all enjoyed Our little girl fed the giraffe for 10 euro. Very informative zoo keeper who took the time to answer questions. Could also feed the elephant for 50.euros per family but we didnt do that. Small play area and reasonably priced restaurant. Bird show was brilliant and free to watch. Lovely family day out. Tickets were 21 euro per adult with transport included and 10 euro per child.Visited February 2020Traveled with familyWritten February 29, 2020

Ironic that every year these tigers have cubs they 'orphan' them to be hand raised, which then is coincidently a lovely money earner. After the parrot show they bring out a cub and the audience can pay to stroke it and take photos.
Much the same with the young Asian elephant female who is confined to a life of boredom in a small substandard setting, you too can pay 50 euros to watch her do a trick and have a photo with her.
Nothing about this zoo is in the interest of conservation.
The petting zoo area has guinea pigs suffering skin conditions, and I assume all inbreeding as around 5 sows were pregnant that I could see and one was giving birth as we were there.

Me and my boyfriend travelled to the zoo on September 2022. The zoo has a lot of animals and birds. Most of the staff are English or speak good English. I would recommend you bring some cash as the ATM takes like 4 euro for withdrawals if you wish to interact and feed the animals like lemurs, elephant and giraffes. We have interacted with all of those and it was something we couldn’t do in any other zoo, it was great. The elephant interaction costs 50 euro for a group of 5. We have met other group of people which was happy to do it with us so it worked out cheaper. The bird show took about 25 minutes and we enjoyed it. It is worth going and we would recommend you do it early in the morning to avoid the heat.

I went with a friend on Saturday 31st October and we had an amazing time. The highlight for sure was the lemur enclosure! It’s an extra €5 per person paid at the enclosure and you are given a cup of fruit to give to the lemurs. Once inside the lemurs are very friendly and will jump all over you and there are some cheeky ones that will grab the cup and stick their head in for the fruit! I never knew how soft their little hands were and it’s so worth doing! So much that I want to go back and do it again!
The rest of the zoo is also fantastic and I would give yourself about 2 hours to see everything there. There’s also a cafe and a restaurant if you want to spend more time there and it’s a great way to spend part of your day.

What an amazing day! My family and I got to feed the amazing Giraffe (10€). Karen who looks after him was incredible! She told us all about him and was so kind and friendly she really made our experience! We then fed, stroke and had photographs with the gorgeous elephant (50€) and Karen gave us a lovely talk on the elephant. Then Mohammed, his Mamet, made our experience with the lovely Elephant, calm and so enjoyable. He even stays in a house all year round, day and night next to the elephant’s house. Mohammed walks the elephant around the zoo at 6am every morning five times so she gets enough exercise! We then walked in the lemur enclosure with a cup of food each (5€) and the lemurs jumped all over us! It was such a good experience!
Although, we saw reviews before about some of the enclosures being a little small, after talking to Karen, we realised what a family feel ethos the park has. The animals are so loved and well cared for! Would definitely come back here again!

visited in winter so a few of the enclosures were closed for refurbishment ( the bear enclosure) as were all the tuck shops but the main restaurant was open and served great portions of hearty food for good prices.
the park itself was very nice although a bit of a maze, i did not find the map very useful as lots of the paths werent accurate so just wandered around bymyself without which was still great, although i cant help but think i missed something.
I got a chance to see the bird show which was lovely, you could really see the staff enjoyed themselfs working with the animals and telling you about them.
The zoo did have quite a few places where you could pay extra to a) feed the giraffe from your hand b) meet the elephant up close c) private visit with the lemurs up close as well as various oportunitys to take close up photos with the zoo inhabitants. I think this is a great idea by the zoo to raise extra funds to look after the place and dont see why people complain about it as it wasnt a compulsory thing to do, there was plenty to see and doo without. The extras were just a nice touch to amp up the visit if you wished.

My husband, myself and my 3 year old son visited the zoo during our stay in Pafos. The zoo was very quiet due to the current covid situation and not many people traveling.
They had a great variety of animals that were all able to be seen very closely, and all looked happy and healthy!
The cost to enter I thought was really good value at €34 ish for all 3 of us.
While you are there you can pay extra for animal interactions such as the lemur enclosure (which is a must, it made our day) and giraffe feeding, and holding a parrot or owl.
This is one of the most enjoyable zoos I've been to and would have loved to have stayed longer!

The zoo had an huge variety of animals and when we visited they were looking at expanding their range with white rhinos and Sun bears.
We were thrilled when we discovered that they work with a lot of conservation and breeding programs in place for endangered creatures. The animals all looked very well treated and with keepers being very professional and focused on animal care. The staff were fantastic, often working in difficult conditions in particular, Tash, if I remember correctly, sorry to her if I got that wrong, who worked on the snack bar and was so accommodating and lovely.
Although during our visit a lot of the animals where hiding in the shade/having a snooze-it shows the animals have a comfortable living space-it was a brilliant experience although we unfortunately missed the shows due to us being on a schedual, I would highly recommend it to those who love animals.

I honestly can not believe how amazing this day was! Me and my friend went and spent €35 each that was to feed the giraffe (€10 between two of us) feed the elephant (€50 between two of us) feed the lemurs (€5 each) and watched the bird show which is included in the ticket price. If it wasn’t for Karen who works in the giraffe exhibit, I don’t think I’d of done any of this, I am terrified of everything animal wise that comes near me but I have managed with the help of Karen to conquer a fear! The most surreal day and I would happily do it all over again! The giraffe was so friendly, gentle and loved the interactions with everyone and I have not developed a soft spot an there up there with my fave animals 🦒😍. We also got to stroke one of the zebras! The elephant was also very friendly and even done a few tricks. You can see all animals here have a great relationship with the zoo staff and I have learnt so much just within the space of 3/4 hours being here! Amazing day would highly recommend to go and do these experiences!!🦒🐘🐯🦁🦓

Just a quick review!!
This Zoo is great lots to do for the kids too, enclosures were clean and yes some of the enclosures need to be bigger for certain animals. I would say come to visot theoo as the money is well and truly needed.
Cost 50 euros for x2 adults and x2 children, 10 euros to feed giraffe and 50 euros
to have an experience with the elephants!!
The Giraffe feeding was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The British lady (sorry forgot her name) was fantastic and truly made the feeding experience worth it.
Management need to take a look at the size of some off the enclosures for certain animals like the Lions, Giraffe and elephant!!!!

We went for a Sunday trip to the Zoo. Very well kept and clean, friendly staff- you can see the employees like their job. Some animals you can feed and get close to ( for additional fee). The keepers are turning this experience unforgettable. The Parrot&Owl show is nice and well presented and it is free of charge, It was a surprise the baby Siberian tiger so we had the opportunity to caress it. In general great experience and it is highly recommended.
