The scale of the site is almost daunting! However, this allows you to meander along at your own pace and not be caught up in crowds. The mozaics are in incredibly good conditions especially those which are enclosed. The site would benefit from even more...More
I liked the ease of getting in and getting around on foot. It's not for people in wheelchairs (sadly) and there should be even more expanation at each point around the site (but I guess they want you to buy a brochure)
The mosaics here are absolutely stunning. Many are covered or even enclosed in buildings. Strangely some are still outside facing the lements. Perhaps one day they will have enough money and time to ensure that they are preserved for future generations to see.
When I first visited the site there were just two houses of mosaics and now it is still being further excavated and improved. As well as the mosaics, the wild flowers growing in the park are well worth looking at.
