Took a trip (for the second time) with Andreas of EcoTours. We had such a fun and wonderful experience!! He took us to the Shipwrecks of Paphos, Lara Bay, Polis, Baths of Aphrodite, and some amazing secluded beaches as well as fed donkeys with the kiddos. We loved it so much last year we decided to do a tour again with Andreas.

Excellent trip that encapsulated a little bit of everything that Cyprus has to offer - tremendous sights and engaged conversation from Andreas at every turn and behind every hire vehicle in our path - seriously! Sea caves, shipwreck, Lara turtle beaches, flora and fauna along with a bit of politics and religion for good measure. Then lunch at the first class Watermill (huge helpings) before boat trip with swimming/snorkelling and a return trip through the wine region. Recommended.

Michael took us on a brilliant tour. We went and did the classic tourist things such as Lara Bay and the blue lagoon but he also took us to a gorgeous local restaurant called The Water Mill and a little coffee place in the middle of a scenic village. The whole day was full of interesting facts and brilliant conversation. We even did a mini detour to a ship wreck we spotted on the drive. We highly recommend Michael and EcoTour Adventures.

Our trip to Akamas (The gorge, forest picnic site, Lara Bay, Moutis tis Sotiras, Blue Lagoon) was absolutely amazing!! Michalis was a perfect guide adapting to each individual’s personality and needs, constantly smiling and providing interesting insights throughout. The tour was truly wonderful on all levels. Definitely recommend!!!

Travelling through Akamas was the highlight of our trip to Cyprus. The tour guide, Michalis, was great fun – impressively knowledgable in a vast array of subjects, both cheeky and easy-going, as well as professional and composed throughout the trip. We saw ancient olive and stone-turned fig trees, held live cicadas, indulged in delightful local cuisine far away from touristy sites, walked amongst old turtle eggshell remains on Lara Beach, and even discussed life and culture over a devilishly good cup of Cypriot coffee. It's a shame we couldn't get a reservation earlier, as everything seemed to be booked until our second-to-last day, but it was still well worth the money.
