Used this bar for quite a few years which advertises that it sells real ale which it does but the reality of the situation is that apart from one ale on the pump the rest is bottled beers sold at ridiculous prices which while I don’t know how to keep beer I I know how to cool a beer and how to take a bottle top off. Just around the corner is Mikeys bar who sell quality real ale for half the price of the fishing shack.

Visited late November this year despite many of the business in what is known as bar street being clos closed the old fishing shack is still going strong. The bar still has an excellent range of beers and cider. A warm welcome and good music.

If you like real ale, this is the place to go in Paphos. The owner was a font of knowledge on all of the products he stocks, including the stuff that’s due in. Great pint.

Fantastic selection of beers and cats! An absolute must visit. We went here twice during our stay and wish it had been more. The beer selection would be remarkable anywhere in the world, let alone a seaside town in Cyprus. The friendly beautiful cats were a bonus too! The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly, and can match beers to any taste. Would totally recommend.

There's only so much Keo one can drink and this is the anti-Keo antidote. So much choice of craft beer and super knowledgeable owner. We went more than once. Also, the cricket was on!

The place to go if you want a beer-experience out of this world and a talk about the art of brewing. Never been in a better pub and never had better beer. Do not let the basic interior fool you.

Best selection of beer in Paphos by a long way. Prices are what you'd expect for the quality on offer.

Owner was nice and had a great chat about beer.

Will definately return next time I'm in Paphos

The warmest welcome from Athos(?) the barman. Passionate and knowledgeable about his beers and we instantly felt so at home; we visited four or five times in our week in Paphos! Do not expect Keo and Carlsberg here, do expect cats, board gamea and an incredible range of craft beers from around the world. We will be back some day!

My husband declared this place his new favourite pub and he isn't wrong. The beer bible available is insane! If you want a standard lager or cider this absolutely isn't the place for you. However if you appreciate obscure beers - particularly Belgian, then this is well worth a visit. The owner even had a rare version of my favourite beer that we got to enjoy on our anniversary. There are also about 6 stray cats that come visit. So if you like beers and cats = this is the place for you!
