If you like to smoke or passively smoke this is the place to go

Went for New Year’s Eve as recommended for live music. Left after a couple of drinks as there were ashtrays on all the tables in a completely enclosed space and people were smoking despite the no smoking laws in Cyprus. Whoever owns this place clearly has no consideration for their lovely staff or non smoking customers.

Buzzing atmosphere with live music and sports on tv

Not sure what this place is like in full season but loved the live music and the atmosphere in January. The place was nice and warm and the clientele seemed chilled and had no problem. I was surprised to see people smoking and nobody doing anything. Is it banned in bars here?

Either way prices were good for the drinks. It seems to be an Irish bar in terms of beer selection but the decor did not seem to emphasise it. The place also has pool in an outside area and shows football on a selection of tvs around the bar. Great vibe.

First time in Cyprus

The Rose Pub is a must visit in Cyprus, the staff are amazing and extremely friendly. Unbelievably good music from the band, saturday nights, Thursday good music too, guitarist from the band.
Enjoyed every time visited. Great atmosphere and always enjoyable, great service and good selection of drinks.
Will definitely be coming again.

Fab little bar!!

Found this bar by accident on our first night in paphos and very glad we did. We ended up visiting every night of our holiday. Fab live music and fantastic friendly staff. Add it to your list of places to visit and you won't be disappointed.

New refurbished Rose pub paphos

Would like to comment on how we enjoyed our evenings spent at this lovely pub. New owner is a lovely man, very friendly and made us welcome. Good selection of drinks, plus staff also wonderful. Good relaxed atmosphere. Saw live guitarist who was excellent. Good luck with your new venture.

WON'T GO AGAIN!!!

If you want to go out for four hours, spend 75 euro on alcohol and go home sober then this is the place for you.
Not only is the service extremely slow - we were left some 15 minutes between drinks, with empty glasses - but also, the spirits were weak! When we left the bar it felt as though we hadn't had a single drink.
Won't use this bar again which is a shame because there is entertainment on every night...

Fantastic live misic

This bar has amazing staff, very professional and great choice of drinks at great prices. We also seen some really great live music and the place had a really great vibe about it. You won't be disappointed

Fantastic Bar with good entertainment and great friendly staff!!

I stayed at the Daphne Apartment Hotel and The Rose Pub across the road became my local! The staff are really friendly - Jenna, Igor and Egle will make you feel very welcome! The entertainment in the evenings was really good but if you want food, there are plenty of options nearby. Complimentary pop corn will be offered to guests visiting which is a nice touch. Thoroughly recommend this Bar!!

Hello Ray. I was one of the people who complained about the smoking indoors in the winter when the smoke cannot escape. I love this pub, with it's live music and nice people. Unfortunately I suffer from a lung problem (not from smoking) which prohibits me from going to such places. Ref. the law in Cyprus it is not permitted to smoke inside as in all European countries. Is Cyprus exempt from European law? Don't you think it would be great if everyone could enjoy this pub and music? I spend 3 months in Cyprus every winter and I would use this pub on a regular basis if I could breath there!
