About
The TSANGARIDES winery is the next generation of Cypriot wines. Our avowed philosophy is to blend old school traditions with new school style. Our youth, energy, and passion coupled with the distinct sense of place that wine brings to our lives, allow us to produce wines of great character, and distinction. The wine scene in Cyprus is now flourishing and we are extremely proud to be considered as one of the key wineries at the leading edge of this long awaited revival of our countries wine industry.

- pbs1986121 contributionsVery welcomingThis was our very first time to a winery and we were made to feel very welcome straightaway by Angelos, one of the owners. We didn't have to prebook and turned up on the day, and we were able to taste a wide range of different wines with explanations provided as to what to look for. The views of the surrounding countryside were beautiful, even in the pouring rain, and it was also remarkable how a lot of the furniture and artwork was made from recycled wine barrels and corks! We also bought a bottle of their wine to take back home - we'd definitely go back again.Visited February 2020Written February 24, 2020
- Tomas BartasVilnius, Lithuania330 contributionsWonderful experienceWe had incredible time here. Owner greeted us hilmself. We were only four persons (teo adults and teo iur teenagers) wothout any booking. But owner made for us personal tour on winery without any cost. Showed the whole production process, explainign all. Then he took us to the winery cellar. Then we had degustation also for free. That was amazing. So freibdly staff. And ofcourse good wine. We bought some bottles. And wine is with very good price (from 5 to 10 eur/bottle)Visited August 2020Traveled with familyWritten August 16, 2020
- StanislawRauris, Austria13 contributionsTsangarides - wine tastingWe saw winery, children were interesting in bottling machine (just working). Some informations on making wine in this winery, and tasting wines began. Six wines chosen by winery. All were good, but "degustibus non disputantum est". We bought five bottles, prices 5 to 10 euro. For all of this we have payed below 50 euro -- price hit. It was nice trip from Paphos, not far and left good memories.Thank you so much!Written July 18, 2022This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited July 2022Written July 6, 2022

As always the Tsangarides wines were first class the xynesteri and organic xynesteri were particularly good and in my opinion some of the best Cyprus has to offer . We’re turned up without booking but even though the had a large party arriving later nothing was too much trouble . The tasting was well conducted and the quantity offered was generous . We had the fruit , cheeses , and bread for a light lunch all served on a platter with the wines all beautifully prepared and presented . If you are in the Paphos area don’t pass it by

Some places (not many, indeed), are embedded with a special energy.
People, places, little details, everything works and you can find yourself far away from the same old life (wake up, work, back home, repeat).
That's the Tsangarides winery, and we want to thanks Angelos and all the other ppl we met there, we really had the time of our life.

Very good quality wines, most of them organic, at very good prices! Very friendly and helpful employees, especially Elena! And we liked a lot the owner Angelos! He was very friendly and helpful, social and open to talk about his wines!
We were impressed by their Sauvignon Blanc, their Shiraz rose and especially their Zivania! Their Zivania is very aromatic and one of the best we 've tried in Cyprus!

From the friendly service, great view, awesome tour, and amazing wines, we had a fabulous experience here. Usually when you rock up to a winery with three families and 11 children you get the stink eye. This place didn’t even flinch. We felt very welcome and had a wonderful time. Plus, the wines were amazing! ❤️❤️❤️

We had researched prior and visited randomly with no booking . The owner greeted us and made us welcome immediately. We opted for the wine tasting and platter and it could not have been better. Absolutely fabulous experience sat under the vines with views to die for . We know very little about wine so we enjoyed a leisurely couple of hours tasting the variety offered with Information on each . The platter was quality products and enough for the 4 of us . We loved it
Highly recommend.

Very much enjoyed visiting the winery and being shown round by one of the owners. Absolutely no commercial hype, just a passion for Cypriot wine. The tasting was excellent, generous and no hassle. Beautiful terrace to sit on during the tasting experience. Really recommend a visit.

Took a group of visitors here in May and had a wonderful time. Katherine, the guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learnt about the different indigenous grapes and the history of the small family run winery. The wine tasting was excellent and we had a couple of cheese platters to help the wine go down! All in all a very pleasant afternoon with super wine and lovely views. Thank you Tsangarides

We were immediately welcomed and asked if we wanted a tasting. The setting is beautiful and we were seated at a table on the patio, and brought a plate with some cheeses olives and bread. Our host made everyone feel welcome and looked after us all even through several small groups arrived at once. We were given 4 wines to try a white a rose and two reds. Then were were escorted on a tour of the facility and cellars, we were give good explanations of their organic wine making processes, bottling and cellar storage. It's a shame we didn't find this place earlier in our holiday as the rose was particularly to my taste and very good value at 5€ a bottle (I'd have bought more). The tour took abt 15 -20 minutes with a lot of information shared by our knowledgeable guide. (Possibly one of the owners) length of visit required could be under an hour or could take longer.

Hello we would like to go to this winery but do not want to drive as we would like to sample the wines. Do you know if there are coach trips to take you there from kato paphos/tomb of the kings area? If not any taxis?
thanks

Tsangarides is our favourite winery. It is owned and run by Angelo Tsangarides who will, more than likely talk to you about his winery, and the whole process. I would not advise trying to get there by any other means than by car. Leave Paphos on the Polis Road, and once you have climbed out of Paphos take a right turn to Tsada and Letympou. Follow that road for some while and you will come across signs for Tsangarides - keep you eyes open, they are not the clearest of signs. A taxi would cost at least 50 euros, so hire a car for the day, and have a designated driver. The wines are good. Sorry for delay in reply. Try the Letympou Tavern for lunch.

We didn't book although maybe best to check what time they close. I think it was about 3. They were very friendly and no hard sell at all. Well worth a visit.
