It was really nice! I went there in April. It was not full of people. The local bus easily takes you there. There is a restaurant exactly next to the beach, you can eat and drink. I really liked the palm trees, it gives a good vibe :)

Lovely calm and warm waters away from the big waves. Clean sea. Cafe with nice selection of drinks and food nearby (although the staff definitely need to learn to smile!). A good spot for swimming with kids.

Lovely hotel. Staff very helpful and polite at all times. Food is excellent and always a wonderful choice.
Pool towel system could be improved. Only criticism.

The guys that sell rock shoes in here are money grabbers. I recommend you buy it in your home country before you come to this rocky bridge that is always crowded.

Whilst it is refreshing, the waters here can be misleading and get quite rough and dangerous. I was dragged out into the sea over the rocks and almost drowned, please be very careful!

The beach is very small and would be crowded in peak season. There were a couple of boats and some jet skis there. Rocks had been used to form a type of swimming lagoon but it was rocky to walk into the water.

Go west from Coral Bay about 10 minutes. There is a small harbour at St George's. There is a small Greek Orthodox Church and a small museum. There is also a small chapel ? , if that is the right word.? to have a look at. The museum has a small mosaic to see. Big car park and a couple of bars. Just of the edge is a small island and a friend ,who snorkels ,goes here quite often. Also set in the rocks are some man made caves. After looking at them they may have been used for burial. Worth a look and you can make up your own mind.

Nice little beach next to Hotel St George. There are two small sandy areas and a large flat rocky area. Just above the beach there are sun loungers (small charge for non-residents at the hotel). The beach bar plays relaxing music and serves beer and cocktails. There are toilets,a small cafe serving sea food and a water sports hut. The beach is sheltered by a breakwater and has a jetty so you can walk over the rocks. Not too busy even at the weekend. Great for relaxing and families with small children.

It was a beach that appeared to have dirt rather than sand. It was also a little rocky, and the currents were quite strong.

Hello Valmar
I noticed snorkelling at St Georges Bay. Is there much to see? are there many fish? Are there any other good snorkelling areas?
Thank you.
Dave
