A tranquil and peaceful place. The chapel is typical Greek Orthadox. There is now only one Abbot and he still makes wine to sell which helps sustain the monastery.

I visited the Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery with 2 friends we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The Monastery is so peaceful and magnificent. The mountains are majestic they are special.

Interesting monastery in a wonderful setting. Small area overlooking the mountains where refreshments can be bought under a canopy that would keep you cool in summer.
