I attended a funeral at this chuch, a relatively new edifice but with traditional architecture

It is a beautiful church, constructed to meet increased worshipper needs after refugees moved to this area following the 1974 Turkish invasion and continued occupation of the northern part of Cyprus. It is nicely appointed and follows the traditional Byzantine style.

It was an escorted tour to see historical places of interest. We ate only in the hotel so had no opportunities to visit local restaurants.
