It was stinking and there wasn't much variety of stuff to buy. I was excited to be there especially after visiting such markets in Istanbul. So I wanted to visit but a disappointment.

An old market building that once housed a variety of stalls. Nowadays, few remain. A short stroll through will show what is on offer , which includes some bookshops, souvenir goods, fruit and veg stalls and a butcher. We bought some Turkish delight as a...More

A shadow of its former self, but there remain a couple of fresh food stalls. Parts of the market are empty now and some souvenir stalls have moved in. A quick walk through and that’s it.

A wide array of goods, fruit and veggies, but also some souvenir shops. Not of great interest but cool on a hot day.

We had a wonder around here. It's great for fresh fruit and vegetables, and we bought some leather belts from a very helpful stall holder with excellent English. Also found some second hand books!

Great place to visit to get a taste of the tradition. Cypriot foods, and souvenirs makes it a place worth visiting.

For those who cross the border to visit the Turkish side of Nicosia, this bazaar is entertaining and certainly worth seeing. My daughter bought two, made-in-Turkey pashmina scarves at a reasonable price. There were other doodads available but we mostly window shopped because, as other...More

Its a small bazar in an old building. All tourist goods. Why not take a look if you are there but if you miss it you won't have missed much. We bought some Turkish delight.

If you are visiting Nicosia it is well worth trying to find the time to visit both sides of the sadly still in place border. There any many places of interest on both sides. The Bandabulya market area consists of a renovated market building with...More
