Το επισκέφθηκα για επαγγελματικούς λόγους. Προσφέρει γνωριμία με παραδοσιακά επαγγέλματα της Κύπρου μέσω μικρών εργαστηρίων με τεχνίτες(προσφέρονται και μαθήματα εκμάθησης παραδοσιακών τεχνών). Επίσης υπάρχει ένα μικρό κατάστημα πωλησης αντικειμένων. Προσφέρει και έντυπο ενημερωτικό υλικό. Πρόκειται για μια πολύ αξιόλολο κέντρο το οποίο όρεπει να επισκεφθουμε με την οικογένειά μας και με φιλοξενούμενους του εξωτερικού.

Etwas abseits der Touristenströme gibt es auf Zypern mehrere Kunsthandwerk-Zentren, in denen lokale Künstler ihr Atelier haben und ihre Werkstücke produzieren.
Angeschlossen daran ist dann ein Verkaufsraum, in dem die Kunstgegenstände verkauft werden.
Eines dieser Zentren gibt es auch in Nikosia. Leider hatten wir nur an einem Samstag Zeit, um dieses Zentrum zu besuchen, sodass von den Künstlern und Handwerkern niemand vor Ort war. Die überaus freundliche und gesprächsbereite Dame im Verkauf erklärte uns aber viele Details und erzählte uns auch ein wenig vom Drumherum. Natürlich kauften wir dann auch einige wirklich schöne und interessante Souvenirs.
