An interesting place but far to many souvenir shops etc. Was hoping for a more traditional feel. Nice to sit and have lunch and a glass of wine. As my picture shows for one of the locals it is very peaceful 😁

Very popular, well kept and attractive village. Parking was free of charge and good public conveniences. You will find the centre is dominated by restaurants and shops catering for the thousands of visitors at peak times. If you walk a little way from the centre...More

We visited Omodos by car, it was recommended to us by our airport taxi driver. I found it a little dull but picturesque. We had a walk around and had some drinks and then left for Limassol.

Omodos, Omodos...a breath taking village. Although tourists lately, still it keeps its style, charm and naivety. So many experiences, so many thing to see, to eat and to taste. Their dry crunchy bread (koulouri tis yiayias = the koulouri of the grand mother...), their wine,...More

First time to this most charming village that is full of character. Lovely church which houses part of the cross which was used in Christ’s crucifixion. There are stalls where Cyprus foodstuffs can be found and also a cafe restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

This village is very cute and quaint, despite some of the touristy stalls and stores. You can still find some that are run by locals selling handmade lace and embroidery and the famous dried bread. I was here on a tour that stopped at the...More

If you have the chance to avoid the retail and restaurants I would suggest you do that and find something a little more authentic nearby. ( there are plenty of options.). The site and the buildings however are worthwhile checking out.

This is the main village in the wine region of Limassol. Walk along the cobbled streets or relax and try "Cypriot" coffee in Cafenion. In addition, you can visit the monastery of the Holy Cross, installed by St. Helen in 327.
